[Albion] F.A Cup Quarter Final Day

I was at Anfield in 1983 (on the Kop as it happens - as it was the only part of the ground that wasn't already full) Believe me, anything can happen in this kind of game !

Quite agree. The word "disgusted" is seriously overused these days - by anyone with even a mild complaint against anything. Another one that annoys me is "legend" for any player who has played a few games and scored a few goals. Legends shoud be a) dead, b) barely remembered by anybody alive...

[Albion] Is Glenn Murray an Albion legend?

If we're talking about strikers, I have seen every one we have had since the days of Bill Cassidy, Jack and Bobby Smith in the early 60s. Glenn has scored more league goals than any of them. Only Wardy (to date) scored more in the top flight. If he had been paired with CMS in 2011, I think he...

[Albion] A small piece in praise of the Albion's cycling facilities.

You're probably right. At the moment it is just as quick to walk with the bike. Any segregated path would have to be the other side of the fence (on the other side to the railway) which is probably owned by the Uni.

[Albion] A small piece in praise of the Albion's cycling facilities.

I consider myself something of an expert on this, having cycled to most games staged at the Amex and many other grounds as well - all to follow Albion. Our facilities are very good. If there was more uptake, I'm sure more cycle stands would be provided. I think a cycle lane (segregated) is...

    [Humour] What does this mean?

Don't worry. I had one the same which my daughter took to a charity shop by mistake, along with some other old mugs, last season. I'm thinking of "losing" my new one at the start of the relegation run in.

    [Albion] Cheering on the Overdogs

I worked in Coventry for 35 years and for most of that time they were the big team - mostly in the top flight and we were usually anywhere but. Even when we made it in 1979, it seemed weird playing at the same level as City, and, of course it didn't last. How times have changed now !
