I must admit that I was surprised to see him play as a normal CB. It's not his position and he was hopelessly exposed by being put in that position. Still, £50m eh!?:)
I have a plastic cap thingy from the end of the metal framing that held the seats at the old Wembley.
I have a pair of shin pads that Dean Wilkins ripped off after a match and gave to me, complete with a few of his leg hairs on the taping attached to them.
I also have an high-vis...
Boris continues to pay the price for not sacking and disgracing this guy when he had the chance. He'll be hanging around like a bad smell all the time this lot are in power. That said, nothing Cummins says is going to change my view of Boris... a blithering idiot, a completely useless leader.
I have to agree. I'd rather him be a nasty bit of work on the pitch and a decent bloke off it (Ashley Barnes) but this lad is just an embarrassment. Yes, he's only young but we have a load of young players who manage to avoid the pitfalls that come with being a "Premier League ace".
Good professional and seems like a decent bloke but nowhere near good enough to be a regular starter in the Premier League. Good luck to him wherever he ends up next and, from our point of view, £5m and freeing up some wages is about as good as we can hope for.
All I can say is that I can see why wearing retro shirts has become a thing for fans. I'd rather get my NOBO out than splash out on either of this season's kits.
The show is long overdue an overhaul. I used to enjoy it but it's so stale with Barker as host and with whatever it is that Tuffnal and Dawson seem to find so hilarious.
I'll certainly give the new version a go.
I really like the way we handle transfers, both in and out. A lesser club would be feeling under serious pressure to take an offer like this. Unless White puts in a transfer request, we can afford to play the long game and get the type of deal worthy of a top player.
I still think Ben White is...
Dull match, good result but I find some of the England 'support' so appallingly embarrassing that it sapped most of the enthusiasm from me. The booing of any opposing team's national anthem has to stop for a start.
It's for a good cause but I can't help resenting how these Z-list celebs get to play footy star for the day in a way all footy fans can only dream of.
I would love to see a pub team or squad of footy fans who have achieved something for their community take on the a team of former players and a...
Not sure how he gets away with his 'HOW' sign off hand gesture at the end of every 6pm news given the alert on cultural appropriation by the PC brigade but I'm kind of glad he does.
Dineage is a local TV legend and possibly the only Pompey fan I have any time for.
My teenage son dragged me to see the new Saw at the Dome, Worthing, at the weekend. Great to be back in my favourite cinema, even if it was for a film I REALLY didn't want to see.
As for Saw, Spiral or whatever they call it now: It plays like an incredibly generic cop movie (ace but troubled...
Palace - the transition from Woy's ways will mean a bad start but they will probably still stay up with a post-Xmas run and another win against us.
Newcastle - Same reason as this season's struggle.
Leeds - Second season syndrome coupled with a volatile manager will see them struggle.
Having enjoyed the last Super Bowl and been into NFL during the '80s, I've decided to get back into this starting this coming season. Never really had a team but always had a soft spot for the Seahawks (bit like Seagulls). Controversially though, I'm going to be a quiet and distant member of...
