    [Albion] Steele and Webster

I’ve just got home and that is exactly how I saw it too. Ensico and actually Adringa the biggest culprits. Adringa improved significantly when Welbeck came on.

He had no problem with closing down defenders before his injury. He looks 95% fit and in the EPL you can't get away with that. Hardly surprising and in reality he's still in pre-season fitness and form. Needs games.

[Albion] Anyone tried 'The Dugout' seats yet???

You do realise that it is years of shite like 'the dugout' which has diluted that atmosphere? At the top level probably beyond repair.

    [Football] Toto Schillaci RIP

If memory serves he's spent most of his early career in the lower divisions and had basically had one amazing season in 89-90 which got him into the Italian squad, I think he might still have even be in Serie B? Nobody outside of Italy had heard of him. For younger readers you could draw...

[Albion] Anyone tried 'The Dugout' seats yet???

1 post, love it :ROFLMAO: Seriously though, this marketing approach - £190 and you get a 'free' thing which normally costs about a fiver. It is similar to my wife's approach to 'saving' money by spending even more of it.......

[Albion] Amex penalty shoot out …

Solly's penalty at The Valley landed near the centre circle at the Amex, does that count?

"Dec". Oh do f*** off. This is a big part of the problem. Referees want/need to be respected as the ultimate manager of the match, yet also want to be on first name or even nickname terms with the players. The two don't go together in my experience.

I know what you mean, although that will always be Gazza for me. Italia 90 was THE world cup for me. This news is very sad.

Very good to see FH's comments on this competition being important, I think RDZ felt the same. He was fuming after the Charlton defeat and went very strong v Chelsea when we were in Europe. I fully expect a first team EPL squad only line up tonight.

That sounds absolutley horrific, anti-football. Tarquin and Penelope at the football. No f***ing thank you.

[Albion] Julio Enciso - Paraguay’s new wonder kid (Signed 17/06/2022)

For what, two matches? He is nowhere near our best player, he has the potential to be up there, but he needs to get in the team first and at the moment there others justifiably in front of him.

[Albion] Julio Enciso - Paraguay’s new wonder kid (Signed 17/06/2022)

Marseille couldn't afford any of our 'young gems'. I'm not sure Enciso is going to be here much past this season anyway, based on nothing but a feeling, but I just don't see him shifting Pedro and think we might see toys coming out of his pram sadly. That injury really set him back in more...

[Albion] Team for Wolves - 18.09.24 League Cup

Yep, reads like Lamptey will be involved too. If Pedro needs assessing later today then I'd rather they left him out tomorrow and let him focus on Sunday.

Just read the BHA pre-match, I forgot that there is no VAR tomorrow.

[Albion] Team for Wolves - 18.09.24 League Cup

I had a rule that I don't post negative stuff about oppo players when we're about to play them......but I've realised that is just bonkers, so anyway blame me....... Cunha was the main reason Wolves lost to Newcastle on Sunday, he was so wasteful and so many moves broke down because of him.

    [Albion] Newcastle Away?

Yeah if you own a set of binoculars, oxygen tank and have calves like granite...... Newcastle do this because they think it gives them an advantage, the fact the EPL continue to let them despite it actually breaching their own policy pisses me off a bit. As an aside if I were an oppo fan I'd...

    [Albion] Newcastle Away?

An amazing effort really considering that: A) It's cheaper & quicker to get to flipping Paris from Brighton than it is Newcastle. B) Newcastle are STILL allowed to get away with their away seating section. To my knowledge all other EPL clubs have to conform with EPL rules on away support having...
