I’m tempted by Yorkshire, but the Run for all experience at Leeds has put me off, although I’m told that the organisation is much better there.
I’ve lost my running mojo at present so it looks unlikely.
Yeah we are based in Hull at present, I’ve been doing a few parkruns around Leeds way...
How did you find the organisation? From a spectator’s point of view it looked terrible. I was stood around mile 1 and mile 3 out and back it was very crowded with no real partitioning down the middle. Then they sent the half marathon off after the last wave and I got to watch the 1:20 half...
Well done mate, I was there as my wife ran it. It looked a tough course especially the hill at 16-18 miles. It was also a pretty warm day, lovely for me sat in a beer garden and supporting not so kind for those running.
Great effort, I wouldn’t worry too much about time given the route and...
As a nurse we were still under social distancing guidelines in offices and they were pretty strict about it where I worked.
It was only in essential areas that distancing was not in place and PPE was a must.
I don’t seem to remember any leaving drinks either.
It’s great to think all the time...
Yeah that’s what I seem to remember when my wife was learning to drive. My insurance didn’t go up much whilst they were learning, but increased more once she passed her test.

I’m sure if your “arguments” are as compelling as you feel then it may change a few minds.
Of course if said arguments have little substance and are easily seen through then they won’t hold and people will disagree.
Of course if you don’t disclose these reasons (arguments) then you can just...
I was as surprised as you when it was discussed, there was absolutely no back tracking by them despite me trying to apply reason and logic.
It’s fair to say we find it particularly difficult to discuss political issues as they generally descend into me being called a lefty, woke, communist...
I have to agree, I have a family member who thinks that the Guardian is extreme left and the mail is a centrist paper.
Given their views on the world, it concerns me they see themselves as centrist and it’s all a big Woke left wing conspiracy.
I have a family member like this, they look for a conspiracy in everything and seems totally irrational. They were stating that Biden was faking an alien invasion to hide that he’d blown up the Nord pipeline.
I am actually concerned for their state of mind as they seem to spend a lot of time...
