    [Politics] Brexit

Strange one I was trying to work out who it might be. Certainly come out swinging, though I’m yet to see any real evidence of any substance. So it could be a fair few users second account. Did mouldy ever reappear?

    [Politics] Johnson resigns from parliament

He’s been found guilty of misleading the house it appears, by a selection of his peers. I personally think that once you’re proven to have lied when going about your work, you become untrustworthy and a liability and should not be able to perform that role. Regardless of if people voted to put...

    [Politics] Johnson resigns from parliament

Interesting opinion, can I ask why? Why should a politician be treated differently to someone who has been found to have been untrustworthy? I would expect my fate to rest with my peers, experts in my field and legal experts, which it is. Why should politicians be treated any differently? *Edit...

    [Politics] Johnson resigns from parliament

It depends what’s the reason is. For example as a nurse if I was found to have been untruthful I would be held accountable to the NMC (annd rightly so) and in all likelihood be unable to practice. In my opinion MPs should be held accountable to similar standards, if you’re proven to lie then it...

    [Politics] Johnson resigns from parliament

He’s got a knighthood? He was on politics live and could barely string a coherent sentence together. He was adamant he wasn’t calling the privileges committee’s judgment into question but kept pointing out that there was bias and ignoring the Tory majority. Struck me as a bit of a moron.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Cheers I’ll give it a watch later. Let’s hope this leads to some division and infighting. If so we could see the Illegal operation in Ukraine fall apart 🤞

Great effort if that’s the case, could be interesting where Wagner are “managing” Russia’s interests in Africa also.

Given up on the ploughing fantasy I see.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

It would be quite interesting to see what would happen if a few Ukrainians or anti Putin Russian’s launched some sort of attack on Prigorzhin’s troops under the guise of friendly troops or vice Versa. You would hope that Ukrainian intelligence are exploiting this to the maximum.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

If that’s true then surely Prigorzhin’s less than a month away from a fall from an upper floor window or a cardiac event.

I wouldn’t, but it seems a better plan than voting Tory at present. Surprised I need to spell it out to be honest, ok maybe not.

I’m not Starmer’s biggest fan. I’ll go for a low bar of some form of competency and not, I may have broken the rules I set out every night on TV for a few months because I didn’t understand them. As I said a pretty low bar.

Funnily enough I did Chevin Forest last Saturday, it was rather hilly compared to flat as a pancake Hull. Rather uneven under foot plenty of fallers, a good laugh though I’d like to go back in winter when it’s muddy. Roberts Park will be on the itinerary somewhere, I tend to go with friends...
