I agree we need cover, and Joel’s game doesn’t suit a high line but there will be games (and moments in games) where we will need to sit back and absorb pressure and he is great at that. It’s a long season and a squad game and I think he will play his part

I agree it’s an area we can ‘upgrade’ but if we’re away at a tough ground seeing out a 1-0 win I know who I’d want on the pitch.

Think people are also massively under rating Joel Veltman in all of this. Rarely puts a foot wrong and another experience head amongst the youngsters. He will have more than his part to play this year
