Agree 100% - hope Leicester City get relegated now. Unbelievable, though we shouldn't be surprised I suppose with the way many clubs are run these days. Not even out of the Champions League, still a Premiership Club - simply astounding.
Latest update from Erica ....
Paul is going from strength to strength. He's spent most of today off the ventilator, and they will review things at 11pm. They might give him a rest and put him back on it, or they might continue without. Whatever, he has managed 24 hours without it they'll remove...
Thursday night update from Erica....
Great news at last: Paul is finally awake! The MRI was clear, but the doctors think he's got a vitamin deficiency which is causing a little confusion, and somehow his legs not to work. He recognised me, and also the names of people who sent cards. He can't...
Monday update from Erica :
Paul took a big step forward today. I had a call from the hospital asking for my permission as next of kin to give Paul a tracheotomy. Which is quite a scary thing to do for an unconscious adult. But it means they can continue to support his breathing while letting...
Latest update from Erica :
Another good day. The nurse switched off the sedation altogether. It was hard to tell how awake Paul was, because he didn't obey commands, but he kept pointing at the breathing tube as if to say 'get this bloody thing out of my throat!' They intend to try again...
Saturday update : Paul's latest chest X-ray is a lot better. His foot is still healing, though there's still a possibility of further surgery. His heart is working well, and his kidneys, though not great, are better than they were. Though still heavily sedated, he was quite alert, trying to pull...
Totally agree. What was a concern was the number of overhit passes/crosses from the same players time after time. Glenn had a great game, both upfront and in defence, particularly as he seemed to be the only one organising the defence for set pieces. Needed more captains on the field, we didn't...
About to leave - via Birmingham to pick up Henfield Two from Uni - but waiting on Henfield Three's imminent Henfield FC U13s pitch inspection. If off, he's my co-pilot and POTG for him. If on, I'm away solo....clock ticking. UTA :)
Paul was one of the Falmer For All team and organised the hugely successful Supporters' March from Victoria Station up Park Lane to Marble Arch during the 'War Years' (on the morning of our away match at Fulham). Paul had the ear of several football friendly MPs in Westminster and relentlessly...

If you left behind a small child's anorak type jacket in the front 2/3 rows at Ashton Gate immediately to the left of the Players' Tunnel, please PM me. Rather than leaving it with the stewards, I brought it home and I'll get it to the Albion during the week.
The friendliest bunch of stewards I have ever come across at an away ground. Programme sellers were scarce and I thought I could buy a programme inside the ground. Having asked when we had got our seats, the steward apologised and said I could go back outside to buy one. He started to show me...
Following a steward's search of my bag at yesterday's match, I had to leave my flag in a hut before being allowed into the ground. The reason given - I couldn't produce a Fire Safety Certificate for it. I kid you not. No pole, this was just a folded 5' square flag Albion flag.
The steward...
