Not a great second half though, topped off by his part in their third goal.
First half was okay….
What I liked was when he did lose the ball, he recovered it really quickly.
Second half, less so
MoM….
Laughable, very sadly, not good enough any more, despite a reasonable first half.
As @Weststander highlighted good going forward, but defensively struggled, particularly in the second half.
Thought he did really well, some sublime touches.
Needs to work on his defensive duties, particularly tracking, but probably our best player on the night IMO.
Agree.
For 45 minutes Wieffer did okay.
Lost the ball, but quickly regained it.
First goal, I did feel we were sloppy, but great strike, unstoppable.
Thereafter Wieffer (and Moder) were both poor, culminating in an extremely poor third goal.
Lots of room for improvement.
Yes, bad news, see they’re looking to trade though.
As a Giants fan, for the moment I enjoy watching other teams more than my own!
And with no decent QB and fledgling running game (in Tracey), practically all the other teams are more enjoyable! 😂
Which he did, but when a player enters the area you go towards them to reduce the angle of the shot, it’s not about diving in, it’s about closing down. Igor was too deep.
As per my other post worst case scenario, Cunha plays in his teammate on the outside who is coming at a worse angle with...
Sorry Sussex didn’t see this as on phone.
Its absolutely correct if igor closes and the ball goes wide JPvH is positioned forward of the back post and has visibility, Wolves meanwhile are shooting from a more acute position
I think you’re completely missing the point if that’s your take on the discussion, it’s about closing a player down earlier.
Two of the players ran in the same space, at a wider angle, he did well until that moment.
He had to step forward.
