Agree.
The fact we didn’t miss Baleba (who is also exceptional) says it all.
However, I still think we’d have won had Milner played.
When Liverpool had their 20 minute spell, we needed to change the tempo, whether that was with subs (which it probably should have been) or someone (Milner)...
But to the outside world, has he done much yet?
We know he’s great, I’m sure the scouts will be aware, but I would not say he’s proven PL in broader terms….
Yes, when they had their 15-20 mins pressure, we should have been looking to break up the game with subs.
Ferdi was exhausted and i feel Tariq to support Veltman would have been sensible at 0-1.
When they came on it was more reactive.
Still early for some….
Rutter - brilliant - 9/10 - always nervous when we sign players from smaller teams.
Ferdi - very good, with potential for brilliance - 7.5/10
Minteh - very one footed, may be an unpopular score but…..6/10
Gruda, Wieffer and O’Reilly will reserve judgement, but…...
Oh dear, epic fail by the Tory members…..
Given the poor start by Labour, a credible opposition is essential, this won’t help at all.
Bring back…………. Actually, feck……no…….
Agree.
But I didn’t hear anyone on his back in the ground - this is a discussion forum.
I’m afraid this is the PL, ‘time to adapt’ is nice in theory, but you generally have to be at a certain level from the start. 90% of our signings are ready immediately, others take longer (or go out on loan)...
