These full screen ads on NSC

Is anyone else getting them every time you go on NSC (for Santander amongst others). Very annoying as you have to let them do their thing first and then click on the X top right to get rid. Is there anyway to turn them off, I.T. is not my strongest subject! Cheers

Hi all, Anyone got any good experience with racing shoes for 5k distances. Planning on training with a more supportive shoe like the asics kayanos I currently have, and then switching to a lightweight shoe for race days and speed work for extra whizziness. I was considering these as they've...

Brill advice cheers Dazzer. The long intervals session sounds hard, but will no doubt have big benefits! Will practice both and see how I get on.

Thats a fantastic time to get under 20, definitely my goal is to see 19 against my time some day. Thanks for all the advice from everyone, really loved the experience and was a fantastic start to the day (only to be ruined by what went on at the AMEX). Also loved all the stats the site gives you...

Interesting, whats your PB at Hove Park just out of interest? I thought the pace setters were great, the girl with the 22 on her vest was my nemesis the whole way round, I would not let her beat me (although I thought she would about half way round!)...just got to try and catch the fella in the...

Hi all, just finished my 1st ever park run on Hove Prom, 21:21, so well chuffed and now of course the goal is to go sub 20. Thought the event was excellent and a real good vibe, and luckily the wind was south to north so no particularly hard stretch on the course. My question to you fellow...

    Crawley Game

Apologies if I am being thick, but was wondering what the deal was with going tomorrow's game. Are their tickets available as can't see any info on it or is the match behind closed doors? Feel free to slate me for having my head in the ground...

    Blueteeth headphones

Literally bought these bad boys on Saturday on an impulse buy http://www.skullcandy.co.uk/headphones/GRINDBT.html?cgid=1000&color=Black%2FTan&skdy_mic=Universal#btsqGeD4O2rgBX4E.97 . Very very impressed so far and reviews say they are punching above their weight, £20 over your budget, though...

Hi all, need to something positive as I'm well in the Brexit blues at the moment. Thinking of lining up a few 5 and 10k's to get my mojo back. Last one I did was Worthing 10k which i really enjoyed despite the heat. Could you fellow runners suggest any good ones coming up over the next few...

Would we be better to not beat Derby?

Cheers, here's my run if interested. You'll see the regular dips where I walked, but kept the splits pretty consistent throughout apart from the last couple where I got bit of cramp in my hamstring. The Brighton run just got slower and slower from mile 15 on as muscle fatigue kicked in ending...

Nice one GB, I surprisingly had a great day and actually knocked 10 mins off my Brighton time with 4:18 (so was well please considering my training had been poor). By accident found out about a run/walk strategy on my phone on my way to London and it made loads of sense to give it a try...

Nice Work and I admire your optimism, I'm not feeling it at the mo! I did a couple miles yesterday and this morning. Not going to lie, pretty achey and lots of niggles. Have you had any sports massages or anything else you would recommend in terms of prep? Drinking shed loads of water from here...

That pretty much is the story of my day too, but about 20 mins behind you. Started off reasonably well, but began to slow around mile 15 and died on my ars at the power station (who's idea was it have mile 21 over there!). Last 6 miles very tough and ended up 4:28 when I wanted 4:10. London this...

Hi all, After 2/3 weeks out with the flu, I feel a bit more on track after an 18 miler last Tues. I caught the train to Littlehampton from Hove and ran back, quite a nice way to get a sense of the distance travelled! Also did my fastest 10k yesterday. So feel a bit more on track for next week...
