In the 90’s I sometimes frequented a pub in Morden, due to work. The locals were predominantly knuckle dragging Chelsea supporters, who if they couldn’t find anyone else to fight with, would fight each other. Total and absolute scum.

If we’re on the subject of City centres, Birmingham is great, as is Leeds. Both have upmarket shopping, great restaurants and bars. The surrounding areas not so good though.
