[Albion] To Avoid Potter Bashing - The Staying Up Tracker - season 21-22 Final Update - 11 ABOVE

My suggestions for a tweak to your excellent tracker would be to assume home points = 26 points ( 8 wins and 2 draws against the teams in 10th and 9th) and away points = 14 points (3 wins against promoted teams) and 8 draws against teams 17th and upwards. Maybe something to consider for next...

[Albion] To Avoid Potter Bashing - The Staying Up Tracker - season 21-22 Final Update - 11 ABOVE

Well, because as I said, I am sad, and got bored bored waiting for Zlatan to do a Maupay overhead kick goal against Liverpool (never rated him!), I decided to do a complete analysis of the last 5 seasons! I think it makes very interesting reading (but that's just me I guess) My take on it is...

[Albion] Leicester away - now Sunday 23/01/22

BT will have looked at their viewing figures from previous years and know when the best day/time to schedule the TV game, in the same way that Sky work out the football schedules. Having said that I wonder what the most bizarre reason for moving a Premier League game has been? Sent from my...

    [Albion] Captain for Sunday?

For me the issue is not who has the armband (although giving it to Solly would be a nice touch) but rather who is going to step up and be the leader in the pitch. Without Dunk, Duffy etc I can't see who the leaders are to organise and shout at players. Biss is a great player, but never comes...

[Albion] To Avoid Potter Bashing - The Staying Up Tracker - season 21-22 Final Update - 11 ABOVE

Thank you - very sadly (because I was actually interested in this) I have done some actual analysis. Albion's Home: Away points ratio is 1.77:1 which is the fourth highest, and above the average of 1.35:1. Only Chelsea, Bournemouth have higher, apart from the frankly ridiculous feat of Fulham...

[Albion] To Avoid Potter Bashing - The Staying Up Tracker - season 21-22 Final Update - 11 ABOVE

Agree with what you are saying, and know you mean 10 away draws, as getting 10 home wins and 10 home draws from 19 home games would be pretty impressive. I do wonder however whether there perhaps should be some tweaks to the system, as I am not sure there are too many teams scoring three times...

That's the way time works. Unless you are The Doctor, everything is getting closer, the next win, loss and draw, the next boo and the next act of wonderful shithousery from Neal. They will come to pass eventually Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

[Albion] Troubled times for young EPL strikers

Yes, apologies did not mean to come across as I did. Not a Manure fan, but I would love to see him play every game for them rather than Ronaldo I think it is a shame he won't get the game time he should Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

[Albion] Neal Maupay *** SIGNED from Brentford - 4 year deal - undisclosed fee ***

The problem we have is not with Maupay 24 goals in under 2 and a half seasons (goal every other game started this season) and as you say, never stops trying. He gets in the right positions even in the 98th minute It is everyone else, attackers and midfielders especially, not chipping in with...

[Albion] Neal Maupay *** SIGNED from Brentford - 4 year deal - undisclosed fee ***

I used to be a natural goalscorer, about 3 years ago when playing in the park against my eight year old son. Now he is eleven, and my pace has gone a bit as well, I find it much harder to score against him! Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

[Albion] Starting eleven plus subs for the Tottenham game

I would not be at all surprised if he plays there next week against Spurs. I don't think Potter will risk Roberts against Kane and Son, and a 2 of Burn and Veltman (assuming he is fit) is a little bit scary. Therefore Moder playing in the centre with Burn and Veltman either side is a definite...

By good, do you mean on too high wages? I don't think he's too good for us. I suspect he might think he is, which is another matter. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
