I think our first choice away kit would have clashed with their sleeves?
But I agree, all sides should stick to their normal kit, unless there is a clash with the home team's kit.
I would have us in blue and white for all away games bar when the opposition play in blue (or possibly stripes)...
No, if it obvious put the flag up. 50/50 keep it down.
The difference in your second scenario compared to obvious offside is there is no advantage gained by the side to whom the offence has been committed (i.e. obvious offside) whereas in the second case, the ref is playing an advantage for the...
But he should only do that if he is covering our defence!
Our attackers are in no danger of leg breaks because everyone knows they won't score anyway

I think the point is that yes, at any point in the game a player may get his leg broken. But if the flag goes up, and the whistle blows, then the chance of a needless leg break won't happen at that particular point in time.
The lino should always flag obvious ones, and leave the marginal ones to...
8 points, coming from the West Ham Spurs, Man U and Chelsea games. Not sure which 2 we win and which 2 we draw.
Lose the rest!

Funnily enough, I was thinking that if it were a home game, GP may well go unchanged to make a point to the boo boys. Even so, I suspect he will keep Maupay to give him a chance for redemption.
I also suspect Lallana was given a rest yesterday to be ready for West Ham and so will play (...
Assuming that GP does his usual tactic and makes changes for a midweek match who should make way and who should come in?
My thoughts:
Mwepu in for Gross
Mac in for Moder
Sarmiento in for Maupay
Ferguson from the U23s on the bench.
(Locadia dropped from squad never to return)

Seconded.
Spot on analysis.
Have woken up, still disappointed about the result, but can see we have the quality to finish higher in the table than the last few seasons, despite not having the greatest striker of all time

Your points are well made and maybe a "bore draw" was a bit harsh but despite the very entertaining performance from most of the team, we still didn't convert any of the chances, a couple being "nailed on". Locadia was a strange choice which blunted any edge that we may have had even more. We...
I actually think Maupay had a good game, he chased, harried and got himself into the right places to score (unlike his replacement).
But he clearly is a confidence player. Earlier in the season he would have scored at least one tonight. But having been dropped you can see how he snatches at...
Although many including me will agree with you to an extent, Jota who scored for Liverpool cost £40-45m. Salah and Mane cost around £35m each (and all three would go for £100m or more if sold in January).
A decent striker is hard to find, and we are not in that league.
But, I think we did well...
What is the point of having 9 subs if you can only play 3 of them? There are now players who are going to be on the bench week after week.
For players such as Richards and Sarmiento (from Saturday) it is pointless sitting there again with little or no chance of coming on before March or...
Me too, however, that is how it is on the Albion's website as well.
Obviously, Gross should be in the Back 3 instead of Dunk!
Maybe it is one of Potters crazy formations that he changes completely at half time!

The Northern Ireland v Italy game is the most interesting. With Switzerland winning, Italy need a goal or else playoffs. It could be a tense last 20 minutes
