Better than that, I am convinced we will be the only team EVER to do the double against Brentford on Boxing Day at 8pm in the South Downs

I agree up to a point. Obviously with injuries and Covid I suspect there has been more rotating than even GP would have planned for. And I am interested that he wanted to go back to 5 subs allowed. I think that would allow him to make use of his subs much earlier than he usually does, injuries...
Oddly, I seem to remember last season he was often played in strange positions like left wing back or had 20 minute substitute cameos and people were saying he would be great this season playing from the start in his best position.
Like the similar MacAllister and Mwepu threads, none of them...
Yes but without this moderately talented player we would not have had 5 seasons in the Premier League. His assists alone have probably kept us up for 2 or more seasons.
I agree with the other posters. His time may be up at the end of this one, but my son and I have enjoyed watching him doing...
According to Sky we have now won 12 games in 2021, so when we beat Chelsea we will equal our record in the top division of 13 in 1982.
Personally I think we can beat that in 2022

Less of a woosh, more of a pedantic reply to the post. But let's enjoy Brighton being the first at something for once. I suspect a few more doubles coming up for Brentford soon

But apparently Burn's shoulder "popped out" when he went down injured last night and had to have it popped backed in. He may well be very sore this morning, so potentially could have all our centre halves our, bar a just returned from injury Webster.
So desperately hope Duffy and Veltman are...
I know this is heresy but against teams like Brentford, we don't actually miss Biss. Having one extra offensive midfielder defenitely helped
However, against Chelsea we need to swap out one of Lallana, Moder or Mac for Biss, although I wouldn't be surprised if all three drop out and March and...
Potter nearly always rotates for midweek games, especially since Covid. And with our injury list and that fact that some are just coming back like Welbeck and Webster I would be surprised if there weren't 5 or 6 changes.
My only worry is that we may run out of defenders. Anyone have any news on...
Oh my bad, I was sure I did 2-0, must have changed my mind at the last moment thinking that we would have no centre halves for the game.
I usually go for 2 goals for us, more in hope than expectation

I think it was hard to fault anyone yesterday. No one had a bad game. I like Mac and Moder together, they were both strong and dare I say that actually Biss was not missed. I predict Mwepu will be our best player in a year's time.
And a bit like the Watford and Leicester wins I think the...
Have you updated the points from last night? I am sure I predicted 2-0 to move me up to a magnificent 2 points
