I think it's three or four.

Metallica, Megadeth and Sepultura for sure and likely seen at least one more. Will see Machine Head at Bloodstock this year.

Lots of it is before my time and I'm not a massive fan of classic heavy metal. Much more into modern metal and specific genres in that.

*Edit, forgot to add Hatebreed who were at Bloodstock last year.
Saw Machine Head supporting Metallica some years ago, then saw a bit of their surprise appearance at Bloodstock 2 years ago, looking forward to their headline this year. You’ll also be able to add Obituary to your list after Bloodstock this year.

You’re right. Saw them on the Death Magnetic tour. That’s my tally up to 47.

Worthing
Floyd, Queen, Saxon, AC/DC ( with Bon Scott) Molly Hatchet, Scorpions, Motörhead,Quo, Thin Lizzy.

I saw Saxon in 81ish, a mate was a big fan and I went with him. Extremely loud, ringing in my ears all the next day, but, there was a bloke asleep, maybe comatose from drink/ drugs throughout the whole gig.
I was very impressed. He got up at the end when the lights went on and wandered out.

Ah nice, I'm not a massive fan but they'll be good.

Also forgot I saw Obituary supporting Sepultura in November :facepalm:

Will be a great festival this year, the Sunday in particular will be insane.

Faversham
3 - Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind, and Nirvana.

Heard many of the other bands at the Hungry Years, though :rock:

Now, if there was a comparable list for Punk/Indie/Alternative, I could boast:

The Stranglers = 29
Killing Joke = 13
The Clash = 11
Psychedelic Furs =11 (one in Dublin)
Half Man Half Biscuit = 10
Wire = 9
Manic Street Preachers = 8
Suede = 6
The Chameleons = 5
Blancmange = 4
The Wedding Present = 4
Sparks = 3
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds = 3
Placebo = 3
Gang of Four = 3
Echo & The Bunnymen = 3 (one in New York)
Chumbawamba = 3
Sisters of Mercy = 3
Patti Smith = 2
Seen quite a few of those. And in addition (of that genre) from memory

The Damned
Siouxie and the Banshees
Comsat Angels
Wire (3 times)
Generation X
XTC
Iggy Pop
The Lurkers
The Ruts
Scritti Politti
The Only Ones
Johnny Thunders
The Birthday Party (3 times)
The Fall
The Soft Boys
Chris and Cosey
Big Country
U2
Spizz Energi
The Mekons
The Jam
The Members
The Adverts
Ten Pole Tudor
The Saints
X-Ray Spex
The Ramones (twice)

The original Human League
and countless Brighton bands circa 76-9 including:
The Piranhas
The Depressions
Wrist Action
The Molesters

Just got my ticket for Slayer. Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon and Hatebreed at Finsbury Park. £107 for general standing which after the Sabbath bunfight represents amazing value.
Would absolutely have loved to get to this as never seen Slayer or Anthrax and love Hatebreed among others on there, but given it's two days before I head to 2000 Trees, I can't justify taking that day off work when it'll be mostly spent getting sorting final bits of packing for that and setting up work plans for when I'm away.

Not to mention the busy double header the final weekend of June of Iron Maiden at London. Stadium & Deftones/Weezer at Cr*st*l P*l*c* Park among other big gigs (Maiden in Prague) and festivals this summer (Bloodstock & Burn It Down Festival in Torquay booked up for August). Just a bit busy once the football season is over, not to mention all the gigs in and around it!
