What did you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel
Rumours are David Moyes wants him at Everton, to be honest I wouldn't mind seeing him go. Last season we were undercooked with the 4 competitions we were in and injuries hit us. This season he has had £200 million at his disposable and we have gone from one extreme to the other, and being totally unbalanced and for whatever reason, from a man who was a out and out centre back and hard nut.

He neglected our defence, knowing full well Fabian liked to play a extremely high line at St Pauli and we don't have anyone currently in our defence who can do that. Pacey Defenders you want them Fab, no here is another attacking winger.

So does the buck stop with him and do you want to see him gone?

Things certainly don’t seem as harmonious or consistent behind the scenes since certain people have moved on.
The reality is that we rely on this mythical idea excellence will always be replaced by excellence. That won’t always happen.
Not blaming Weir but the evidence suggests he’s another learning on the job.

Weir getting the job was the same as us giving it to Gordon Greer if Weir does leave.

It was a promotion of convenience given how many staff we lost in a short spell

I understand that David Weir has family connections in the NW and so this may work from a family perspective for him.
We’d also get compo and there’s a certain unemployed but experienced DOF around who has a few quid in the bank, has a nice garden and wouldn’t cost compo to get in.

Mike Cave is our Assistant Technical Director and has been in the position approaching 2.5 years, so he might be given the gig? Although, he's apparently been looking after recruitment since Jewell left, so we'd be in need of some extra bodies.
