Agreed - that was an interesting one, full of information I wasn't aware of. Paul Warburg certainly likes to do his homework.

A while ago, I said something like 'Russia is fraying around the edges'. Now we have another loose thread, to go with Ukraine, Transnistria, Syria, Georgia and even Azerbaijan, which has given $1 million to Ukraine for humanitarian aid.

I didn't know the Azerbaijan donation - a brilliant gesture and message 👍.

Sometimes, you hear or see a statistic that obliges you to rewind the video. A true 'WTF' moment.

How about, 'no more than 7% of the Russian population are in favour of the war?' Watch Elvira from 50:40 onwards.

But the rest of the video shines a light on the methods of the state propaganda machine. Did you know it even rules the content of the Z channels?
Watch from 46:50.

My late evening soap sorted 'Watch with Elvira' 😏 - thank you.
By the by, 'Hi, I'm Mark the Economist' dropped another video, talking about 'moral inversions'. It was good, quite philosophical. His position is that the US shouldn't want transactional benefits in order to help Ukraine. I think we all feel that, but given who's in power in the US, Ukraine will have to get on with the transactions.

Thanks, I'll watch Mark later. From what you say, I'm expecting him to reach the same conclusion as Jake Broe - that Trump will reach the right conclusion (to help Ukraine) but for the wrong reason (rare earths etc).

Elvira is very knowledgeable. I'm listening to another of her videos right now. Russia is a profoundly stratified society, which I didn't really appreciate.

This says it all really.

Hardly a shock, Putin could clearly not give a shit how many innocent civilians are killed as a responsibility of his actions. From Chenya, to Syria, from Ukraine to Azerbaijan. Tens of thousands dead directly. Add the close to a million killed and injured in the current war, and you really have the 21st century Stalin in someone in power without a thought for the lives he destroys.

Only thing more depressing is those leaders in democratic countries, like Hungary and Slovakia who seem to worship the c**t. The cult of genocide, and these guys were actually elected. Almost makes the US electorate look sane in comparison!!

If Konstantin is right, then we're going to be enjoying turncoating, as well as finger pointing, denouncements, scapegoating, and other assorted methods of blame avoidance in the coming weeks and months.

Solid entertainment !

It's really quite funny how the Russian's have about turned in the past.

Interesting report from Times Radio who's reporter is in Kharkiv. Mentions robot soldiers, more innovation from Ukraine.

A big day for Estonia and the Baltic states tomorrow. They have been working at this for quite a while
So far so good. At the moment the Baltics are operating as an energy island. Tomorrow they will connect to the rest of Europe. It will be one less thing Russia can threaten Europe/NATO with

Unfortunately one less thing doesn't include invasion. I suspect Putin really really wants the Baltic states (and access to the Baltic) back. :(

So? At this stage it doesn't matter what he wants. He's losing his 3 day war against Ukraine and he's lost control of Syria, he's far from capable of fighting the Baltics too. As long as we support Ukraine that is.
