Be careful of disinformation, now more than ever before.
Yeah, I just searched and the Daily Fail does have an article outlining this alleged rumour......

but crucially this in the middle which is exactly what you say Eric

"Zelensky's office has strenuously denied the legitimacy of the peace plans.

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram that they did not 'exist in reality', adding that such reports often disguised allegations spread by Russians. "

That would be a terrible deal for Ukraine. Black sea has gas fields off Crimea, Putin has stolen my wifes home city and many others have had their futures totally ruined and 10,000's murdered.

Its not a deal at all, its a capitulation and I can be 99.9% certain, that Russia will go into overdrive stockpiling and rebuilding its military ready for when Trump is dead or out of Power and go again. Its just another freeze until Russia is ready to resume
Surely no way Zelensky accepts that

It's almost nailed on that we will all get caught out to some degree, in the coming <insert whatever timeframe you believe>.

I find it heartening that Zelensky's office strenuously denied the legitimacy of the peace plans. That suggests he has been told of the only official channel he can trust. Taking it a stage further, it - might - mean that Zelensky knows the content of the real peace plan.

After Trump's announcement about Gaza you really don't know what madness he will come up with for Ukraine.

Indeed, that is the stress for us as we watch this mad world...we actually wouldn't put it past Trump to propose such a thing. Actually, if he wants maritime property development then Crimea would be far more attractive than Gaza IMO.
Anyway, here's Russia's real strategy, in plain sight as always. I hope to goodness that Kellog etc is made aware of this stuff, and doesn't just dismiss it as "haha yes, that's the same sort of game old Trumpy plays".

Rumor of Trump's plan for peace, which I really hope is wrong. Front line to be frozen by Easter, Ukraine to leave Kursk & accept all the occupied territory is now Russian, Ukraine to never join NATO, European troops to create buffer zone.

Laughable. Ukraine wouldn't accept it, and neither will Europe, who are supposed to put troops there. Otherwise it's great.

I don't trust Trump one bit, but I do trust that Zelenskyy would simply say no, and keep fighting, and Europe would back him up. Trump would indeed simply give the land to Russia if he thought he could.

To me that just looks like massive Putin win which I can not believe Ukraine wold be able to accept.
Hardly a plan for peace - because it will just give Putin everything he wants, and he'll just come back for more.

Anyway - this one really isn't up to Trump to choose.

A few lightly armed Dutch troops - that should do it.

I hope you're right about "and Europe would back him up,". I think there's a good chance but the potential deference of Europe towards US positions remains a worry for me.
