The boy has a lovely touch but he just doesn't seem very effective any more. If an offer comes in above £75m I'd take it but not a penny less.

Nobody leaves him 1v1 any more and he can't dribble half way up the byline like he used to.

Still a very good player though.

He is not at his best without Estupiñán who is currently injured.

We have a capable back up in Adingra and a number of younger left sided players who could take a bench role in case Simon gets injured.

We’ll probably but never get a higher bid for him. But…….eezzzz complicated.
Can't compare Adingra and Mitoma imho.

He's nowhere near Mitomas level

I think some fans of this club have lost their mind, if people are suggesting that.
Wouldn’t it be nice if when you bought your season ticket you actually bought a share with voting rights on certain things. And let’s say we could vote on whether we invested some of that cash in extra buses or players. I wonder how the vote would go? Got a feeling Govia wouldn’t see any of the cash.

I’m inclined to agree, whilst asset stripping and building a HUGE bank balance is a fun Sunday afternoon activity… it does run the risk of an away game at Fratton Park rather too closely for comfort.

As an aside, Mitoma is my sons absolute favourite player, when he heard he might be off he burst into tears… 😭 bought back how I felt the day Kurt Nogan upped sticks for Burnley … no, I’m still not over it.

Football really sucks sometimes.

Indeed, I’m all out of trust - especially when it comes to the process.
Brighton fans have to much faith in not to worry we will find another young player just as good. Nope Mitoma is a generational type player.
£90 million is well over his real valuation, so yes.
My real concern is at what point do we keep our better players and build a squad for the future.
Is selling our player's up to the club or the player and his agent.
Did you know this season he has made the most progressive runs in Europe by around 30 more than Vinny Junior. Mitoma has made 127ish VJ has made 90 something.

Can Govia play left wing 😉

While you can't argue with stats, progressive runs don't always lead to creating chances. I often wish he would try to cross with his left foot rather than the outside of his right.
I'm not disputing his ability, however £90 million is an amazing offer.
