this might sound harsh but I honestly believe those voting yes have stopped being football fans. I don’t doubt you support Brighton but if you would rather have money in the bank then see a player like Mitoma play for us you have forgotten what football is all about.
this with bells on. i want to watch good footballers play for us. we’re extremely unlikely to be able to attract a replacement who’s at mitoma’s level, even with the money. it would be a question of buying another prospect who we hope. can come good in a year or two’s time. and we’d lose possibly the most talented dribbler i’ve ever seen play for us. therefore it’s a simple equation to me. try as i might, i’ll never care more about the balance sheet than what i see on the pitch at the weekends

Pretty sure Saudi clubs don’t operate the same as most. Most clubs sound out a player. I’d imagine Saudi clubs just make bids and hope the £££ is enough. Not sure Mitoma would have been contacted at all.

I don't think Mitoma was as good as he once was, that's my view anyway. He is an exceptional player, don't get me wrong, but he has lost his spark which I saw of him a few seasons ago.

This season he has 5 goals and 4 assists in the league from over 1800 mins. That is a goal involvement every 200 mins. 90 million is insane money for those returns from a 28 year old attacker.

Rutter has 4 goals and 4 assists from about 1200.

Minteh has 3 and 3 from 700.

Adingra has 2 and 1 from just over 500.

So all of those are having more regular goal involvement.

I really enjoy watching Mitoma but 90 million is daft.

Love watching him play and can’t see the actual offer reaching £90m. I think he will stay for now but I’d understand if we sell at the touted price.

Adringra is not a capable back up he’s even more lightweight than Mitoma
Mitoma is a freak of nature for a winger and who has a thesis on dribbling, there's none other out there.
A collectors item in other words, no wonder the sand people want him.

For the thread, I'd be sad to see him go, but £90 million is hard to turn down.
You could buy 90 million Locadias with that money.

Brighton fans have to much faith in not to worry we will find another young player just as good. Nope Mitoma is a generational type player.

Did you know this season he has made the most progressive runs in Europe by around 30 more than Vinny Junior. Mitoma has made 127ish VJ has made 90 something.
Did you know some of our fans are delusional idiots. How ANYONE is suggesting he is not that good anymore just beggars belief.
