Hey Popeye, good to see you posting again.
Appreciate that friend!

Been a trying time for me the past year or so to put it mildly! Lost my job and broke up with my fiancee, a good friend of mine passed away, etc.

Was some dark days, but glad to say am on the mend!

New woman in my life and loving my career as an EC teacher!

Looking forward to seeing the Albion win this here Cup, Chelsea you are next! :)

Oof, I’ve got a lot of respect for what Pete did at Seattle, but the guy is way too old now. Time to spit out the gum and hang up the hat Pete.

Age is just a number, you know he has more energy than many people 20 years younger than him.

Please, No!

Why not? I think he would be good to build a winning culture.

Raiders reportedly interested in him too.

With 6:15 to go until halftime, the Texans took over on their own 1-yard line and they ended up marching 99 yards for a touchdown. On the drive, Stroud ended up throwing for 101 yards. With an NFL field being only 100 yards long, it's not often that you see a quarterback throw for more than 100 yards on a single drive, but Stroud managed to do it in the Texans' 32-12 comeback win.

With his performance, he became just the third quarterback since 1991 to throw for at least 101 yards on a single drive in a playoff game, joining Aaron Rodgers (2015 divisional round) and Lamar Jackson (2019 divisional round).

As for Stroud, the reason he was able to top 100 yards on a single drive is because the Texans got penalized 11 yards for tripping.
Overall, Stroud went 6 of 10 for 101 yards and a touchdown. Including their rushing yards, the Texans totaled 110 yards on the scoring drive, which was almost twice as many as they totaled on their first FIVE drives combined (59).

Ah well, the season ends for my Broncos but we did so much better than anyone expected and looks promising for next season. Hopefully we can keep Vance Joseph for another season, he’d be mad to take on the Jets job he is due to be interviewed for.

Wouldn't worry too much about this yet, Jets are interviewing everyone.

In other news, Vrabel to the Patriots. Should have probably hired him last year already.

Glorious day in Orchard Park, 32F (nice for January), Bills dominate second half and take a comfortable win. The Ravens come to town next weekend, should be a slugfest, they had our number earlier in the season but we have been improving all season long. Too bad one of these teams is going to have their season end.

O/T Sorry to hear of all your problems, but glad you seem to be on the mend. If ever you want to get stuff off your chest you can start a thread on here. Loads of others have done it and they say it helps!

I feared for the worst after both teams' opening drives, but yeah, you were comfortable in the end. And although I want the Lions to win the Superbowl (sorry!) I will of course be 100% behind the Bills next week.

As an aside what's that new stadium they seem to be building next door? Are you getting a new ground?

Just woke up and completed the 12ft commute to the office, thank goodness for WFH.

What a game with the Bucs this morning, the Commanders took full advantage of Tampa errors and penalties to win their first playoff game in a million years. Amazing. Cracking game, Jayden belied his rookie status with a cool calm and collected performance. To see off the last 4.41 of the game to WIN it was just sensational.

Tampa played tough, their D was awesome, Baker pulled out some fantastic plays and Evans owned Lattimore yet Washington still deserved their win. The road will surely end in Detroit next week, but we will give it a go anyway. A fantastic season, from the hiring of Adam Peters on the Harris Group has just made good decision after good decision and we are no longer an embarrassment, I had forgotten what this felt like.

You deserved it.

Packers got off to the worst possible start, and never recovered.

Too many mistakes.

A dissapointing end to the season.
Yep….wanst enough intensity shown by the packers

looks like next round is a interesting one vs the Rams or Vikings. Hoping for the rams really as the vikings are looking good.

Should be an interesting one tonight as we've only lost to two teams all season: the Lions and the Rams. Hopefully whatever brainfart Darnold had last week has cleared and he gets back to how he's looked over the last few weeks. Let's just hope we don't need a field goal as we all know how it goes with the Vikings and choking.

Really annoyed that this is a 2.20am start for me as I can't even justify the first quarter. Against the Lions I was waking up every 45 minutes.

IMO The Vikings will win comfortably.
