Fair point. But they still beat us last time out, that's where the doubt comes from.
Of course, and as a fanbase im sure you cant help but remember previous failings and disappointments - its the way it works! - but the players dont take that on board, they dont care about previous seasons and traumas, they'll just want revenge on a team that beat them earlier this season. I think you'll be fine

I feared for the worst after both teams' opening drives, but yeah, you were comfortable in the end. And although I want the Lions to win the Superbowl (sorry!) I will of course be 100% behind the Bills next week.

As an aside what's that new stadium they seem to be building next door? Are you getting a new ground?
Yes, new stadium opens for the 2026 season. Unfortunately the next season will likely be the last for a lot of us as the stadium PSLs are high for many of the fans in the Buffalo area.

To sit in the lower bowl between the goal lines you are looking at 5 - 8 thousand for a license for the right to buy your tickets (up to $40k per seat in the fancy clubs).

I’m not paying that. Hopefully enough fans say no and they have to dramatically lower them for the upper bowl.

Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this season and will enjoy next season, and see what happens

Frustrating. Darnold in the last 2 weeks seemed to have reverted to his old self.

There's some blame being put on the o-line as he was sacked 9 times, however he had at least 3.2 seconds to throw after every snap. He froze and we suffered.
The screen pass where he just waited to be sacked when Jefferson was open sums him up for me...

Oh well, the Lions to uphold the NFC North...Who'dve thunk it for the last 50 odd years ( bar last year of course )

Another stinker from Darnold. As a Seahawks fan it pains me to see the Rams advance, but that was very disappointing from the Vikings.

Overall, not a great WC round. Only Washington’s FG doink win the result of a competitive game, the others were largely one-sided and flat.

Still, at least we’ve all seen Sky’s trailer for its Colin Firth Lockerbie drama 582 times now. I’m not coping either.

Decided to pop along to Covent Garden to see Jenufa at the Royal Opera House in attempt to keep myself awake for the big game Sunday morning. Cannot wait for the Detroit game, I'd be stunned if we can pull off the upset but I do think Washington will make it a competitive game.

Could not believe the Vikings collapse last night, a great season undone by two bad weeks and Darnold may have played himself out of a new contract now which I consider a great shame.

Yep it'll be getting JJ McCarthy back to fitness and him being number 1 next year. Possibly even starting the season with Jones. Before the Lions game there were rumours that Darnold was to get a 150m contract. I think he'll have a similar contract to Mayfield as in a team will take him for a year because this year's QB draft isn't great, whilst the year after has quite a bit of talent.

IMO the last two weeks showed the difference between an elite quarterback and a good quarterback.
