I thought he was pretty decent today. I know he left under a cloud and I don’t like him much but I think booing him for the entire match was a bit unnecessary. A bit tin pot, some might say.

This. MacAllister will never be booed at The Amex for example.
Of course, Mac was a 'good leaver' as HR people say but what’s that got to do with my point? I think it’s fine to boo Trossard at the start and for a few touches but when people (a small minority, admittedly) are still booing him in the 90th minute it’s all a bit embarrassing. I don’t like the bloke, as I said, but it's classless to keep whining about it forever.

Much as I hate Chelsea, I was impressed by them applauding Gilmour and singing "One Billy Gilmour" when WBG went to take a corner at the away end last season. A bit of a contrast with the pantomime booing of Caicedo and Cucurella for 90 minutes. Sometimes it just comes across as a bit small-minded and obsessive. They’re gone. Fook 'em.

It’s the full house with this bloke - ratboy histrionics, ran out on his team halfway through the season rather than wait for an orderly move, went on strike to lower his fee so we didn’t get market rate, and yes he has some talent. If you can’t boo someone like that, who can you boo? Not even the Chelsea deserters score all four, we got at or above market rates for them

I will agree with you on the "booing him for 90 minutes" thing, but to compare either Caicedo or Cucurella's situations with WBG's is ridiculous. Gilmour left Chelsea because they decided they'd rather have £6m than find a place for a young player who'd come through their academy. He'd expressed no desire to leave. Both Caicedo and Cucurella, on the other hand, basically went on strike because Mr Toad waved his chequebook in their faces, and told all sorts of lies about boyhood clubs and driving past the Bridge en route to Brighton etc, therefore deserve all the stick they get (although pleasingly, it turns out fans of every other club have realised what a weasel Cucurella is too, so he gets it wherever he goes, not just from us).

90th minute? Someone should have gone into the dressing room and dragged him out so we could boooo him for even longer.

Tbf to Trossard he was pushed out. Can't have a manager who refuse to talk to you face to face but trashtalk you every press conference.

Good player, by all accounts decent guy... luckily Joel Veltman doesn't give a shit and controlled him through the game.
