22%. Be interesting to see how much that figure goes up if we lose our next two games, which is perfectly feasible. Not that polls makes a blind bit of difference to anything in the real world
I suppose that De Zerbi doing well was entirely on Potter's football until he coached it out of them and we dropped to 11th.This is where I'm at. At the start of the season the team still had the 'muscle memory' of De Zerbi football and carried on winning.
Since then, that has been coached out of them and we have been left with these dismal entrails of Potter football.
Hopefully this new uber-coach coming in in January can sort things out!

Yes but that was after he took over from Potter so it's clearly all down to Potters hard work and De Zerbi hadn't coached it out of them yet....but finished in a European spot for the first time ever in our history.
That's not going to happen any time soon though is it?
Wow. I understand frustration, that's fair enough. But progress reaction to Pedro for instance, disgusting. He absolutely worked his socks off for no reward. According to an imbecile on radio Sussex after the game, he showed poor body language throughout the game. And Minteh had hardly any opportunity but still placed an absolute peach of a pass onto Adingra's head which should have led to a goal only for Ayari to blaze over. How the hell do those people think the players feel, all of them are desperate to win but at the moment it's not happening for some reason,. Acting like that makes one part of the problem not the solution. Us fans have to play our part as well and get behind the team, not act like entitled big 6 fans.Directed at players I think. Preceded in the second half by quite a bit of anger all around us against Pedro, Minteh, Enciso, Ayari when they blew half chances or shot wildly into row Z.
No one supportive of the club would create such a divisive and inflammatory poll. Have a bit of common sense. Do you think the club, the players and trouble-making journalists never look at fan forums? Nothing good comes from this sort of bullshit sensationalism.Starting a thread which would have been started anyways by a number of other different posters isn’t embarrassing.
I’ve not stated my own opinion in the opening post either.
It was a chance but it wasn’t close because he headed it straight at the keeper. So he muffed two really good chances and had a bunch of other shots that were probably 0.01 xG, because ever since he got nominated for a Puskas award he thinks he can do that every time he gets the ball. The unmarked free header from 8 yards was a massive chance
Yeah, I shared that stat in here earlier, like it or loathe it but to me XG is more indicative of how well you’ve created chances rather than total shots. Last night was full of crappy headers from tight angles and shots surrounded by half a dozen Brentford players slinging their bodies at the ball. We created very few clear cut chances, no one-on-ones, hopeful headers, speculative shots and goal mouth melees. Disappointing. It does. But xG is bollocks.
@Bozza sent me a stat at half time that Enciso had more individual shots in the first 39 mins than any other individual player had in a whole game, previously in the Premier League.
Only the post hit was close.
Hit enough shots and your xG will go up, even if each individual shot has a 90% chance of failure. Touches in opposition penalty area are probably a better stat.
The body language of most of them was worrying for the final quarter of the game. Walking around, slumped shoulders, completely static when playing out from the back. They had the air of a team losing 3-0. One interpretation is that the youngsters are just lacking a bit of confidence and belief currently, which is understandable. The more worrying alternative is that they don’t have total faith in what they’re being asked to do. Footballers won’t take long to blame the former on the latter if they’re not winning.Wow. It seems you can divide Albion supporters into two groups.Where's the 'adult humans should be able to manage their emotions a bit better' option?
It would be completely Wet Shammy to sack Fab now.Well, it would be fine sacking him if we wanted to become a laughing stock.
But... we would at least be in a great position to tackle the big six for supremacy.
In the entitlement race.
