It doesn’t really matter how he comes across to the fans tbh. The worry might be is whether the players find him uninspiring and dull as well. That does matter.
I think you are in danger of projecting your feelings about what you think of Hürzeler onto the players.
Professional footballers are inspired by their own stats and winning games - they are inspired by other players that have gone before them. They are inspired by encouragement and affirmation of those that manage them like any other human being.
Roberto De Zerbi was a good coach, I was inspired by the football we played under him, especially in the first season and so too, I think were the squad but if you think young professional footballers are inspired by the tantrums of perfectionists who are frustrated with the apparent lack of tools at their disposal to meet their impossibly high targets, then I think you don’t understand that bullying people and frightening them, doesn’t inspire anyone - it breeds resentment and at worst, destroys self-confidence and just becomes counterproductive to achieving success.
