Here's a bit from Rosenberg on why he thinks he's permitted to stay (18 months old). I think his questions have pushed the boundary more since then, so I'd judge he's more at risk than before.
He's been there 20 odd years... probably feels like home.
Do you think his presence gives Putin and his regime legitimacy?

Quite an odd article. Headlines with “don’t underestimate NK soldiers”. Then proceeds to list all the ways in which they are shit;

It happens a lot.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen a headline on a Youtube video, and then the content of the video bears little or no relation to what the headline claims.

This latest video from Paul Warburg is interesting, and gives a glimpse of what the post-war landscape may look like.

TLDR - Russia has forfeited its position as an arms exporter, and Ukraine may be taking its place. It ties in with what I posted about the scale of Ukrainian drone
manufacturing.

Interesting. Loved his comments on Russia's air defence system. "It works really well at taking out missiles, but only once":ROFLMAO:

And Paul Warburg's historical perspective on rebellions is very informative. He's a top presenter 👍.

I might have to adjust my position on rebellions. Until now, I've thought it was mostly my wishful thinking, just hoping for a rebellion in Russia.

After watching that video, I googled the number of rebellions there have been in the British Empire.

Short answer: there are a lot more than you think.

Long answer: there isn't a long answer because I can't count them all. There are 47 pages of Wiki results. Rebellion after revolution after uprising after revolt after mutiny after emergency. We obviously didn't have a moment's peace. It makes you wonder if all this empire building is worth it.

Yeah, it was a good history lesson for me too 👍

The Bank of Russia has kept its key rate at 21%.
I'm guessing that a day after his annual 4 hour question and answer marathon, in which he painted a picture that all on the economy was fine, and blamed the official 9% inflation rate on Russian eating habits, that if the central bank had raised rates again to 23% or higher, it would have looked a bit odd.

Broe reports that the Biden administration is transferring outstanding Ukraine aid support tasks to NATO for completion... presumably because of fears Trump will stop the delivery of promised support as soon as 20th January hits.
I don't understand the real detail, and hope it's more than just words.

Currently just over 3% in the USA - so that means they'll have to increase their own spending quite substantially. I wonder if he's thought this through?
He probably means he wants NATO countries to increase to 5%, and US aid “to continue” at the same rate. He’d justify this by saying how huge America’s aid is because of the size of their nation and economy compared to, say, Luxembourg’s contribution when it comes to dollar amounts spent on this.
