Fair enough, f*** off is the logical go to I accept but let’s not claim I have suggested that he is our worst ever manager, maybe our worst ever PL manager though, certainly the most naive. He’s very young, don’t you know.
I like your style.

You remind me of 'fatty Heffer' in the old Private Eye cartoon when Kinnock was 'leader'.
He had a laser-like accuracy when it came to finding a cloud above any silver lining, with his 'cruel cockney humour'.

:lolol:

There is no f***ing silver lining at the moment :lolol:

Sorry, losing to Palace at home is as bad as it gets for me

I'm afraid it's f*** Off.

Still, there are a couple of pea-brains who are clamouring for the return of the Tories NOW! on the politics threads.

Apparently Fab is the worst manager Brighton have had in 50 years.
There isn't even anything to eat at half time, if you are a farmer.
It. Is. A. Disgrace.
Now that you seem to have claimed to find a correlation between those who want the return of Potter and those who would vote Tory, I look forward to reading your thesis on how this affects the price of fish.

Well, we had a goalkeeper who keep for all crosses and was the best in the league at collecting them. Unfortunately this meant that once or twice he came out wrong so we all started to hate him and brought in Jason Steele due to his great ability to do pointless oompa-loompa ball in his own penalty area.

Verbruggen better stay on the line and concede those headers if he doesn't want to be everyones hate object.
Hope you’re not referencing Sanchez who was appalling on crosses…..Other teams also played on this weakness (see West Ham)

different matter if also had choice of DEzerbi and £200m to spend
No thanks.

Signing a Brazilian sub-par defender, giving him a big contract and making him very difficult to sell has left us with a bad CB situation compared to signing a player with the development potential to be a top class PL defender.

Signing Dahoud instead of a real midfielder has left us in a situation where most of our midfielders are rookies. It has put us behind compared to where we should be in that area now.

Ansu Fati coming in and eating 1000 minutes of game time that should have been given to someone like Sarmiento and Buonanotte (who played a fair bit but would likely have been ready for us now with even more football) also slowed the building of the new team down.

Allowing Roberto play with £200m of Tony's money was never ever on the table and thank f*** for that.

FH is learning on the job, just like the players are. He (and the players) are all having a tough time.

The coaching staff are getting beefed up again in January, so he’s clearly identified a gap in his knowledge or techniques, and he hasn’t been too proud to request reinforcement.

I still feel that the future’s looking good, but our squad is horribly unbalanced atm, and we’re trying to bring a lot of young players through at the same time. I don’t foresee the next 2-3 months being plain sailing, but I do believe we’ll find a solution, Hürzeler retains my faith and goodwill.

No correlation.

And previously voting tory, and now demanding an instant election rerun are not connected.
Voting tory is fine.
Calling for a general election now is the sort of arse-fluffery that Old Labour types used to do.

(the price of fish is going up. In case you needed a steer. )

(Incidentally, when did you have your last swim with the fishes this year? I wimped out of a September sea swim for the first time in many years....)

Can someone give the medical team a kick up the arse too please? More unspecified injuries than you can shake a stick at

Since Poyet, Bloom never lets managers do the transfer spending.

Ffs, when does it ever go well when a manager goes back to a club! Why don’t we get Micky Adams back for a third go at it 🤣
Does anyone seriously believe Tony Bloom would bring Potter back in? I don’t remember this much clamour for a former manager in the past, it’s ridiculous!

(Nothing against him, I liked Potter, but he’s gone now 🤣)

It is what it is.

We gave Potter a age to get it right. Surely FH deserves the same

Hold your nerve mate. Let's see if this is a new reality or a bad run of form, before we throw the baby out with the bath water.

Either way though, Potter's time with us is finished.
