Pleased to see this thread back on page 1.

Dropped more weight over the weekend but have plateaued ( 4 vowels in a row ! ) over the last three days. I'm more than happy that I have at the very least consolidated and hopefully better than that tomorrow morning at 9.00am.

I'm still eating healthier than 4 weeks ago and avoiding snacks has become a very pleasing habit.

Good luck to all....keep going if you can, for less than 60 hours now.

Fri 1st Nov: 88.2 kg (aiming at 85 kg)
Fri 8th Nov: 86.9 kg (-1.3 kg)
Fri 15th Nov: 86.6 kg (-0.3 kg)
Fri 22nd Nov: 86.1 kg (-0.5 kg, lost 2.1 kg)
Fri 29th Nov: 85.5 kg (-0.6 kg, lost 2.7 kg)

Well, lost 2.7 of those 3.2, I'm really happy with that! A bit less on the plate, more veggies, cut out most snacks (... but not all ...), and did some more walking/jogging on a regular basis. I'll try to keep going.
Big thanks to Couldn't Be Hyypia! Think we'll need another thread in, say February :)

Down half a pound on last week. Bit disappointing - but the direction is the right one.
So, overall - down 3.4 lbs over Nov. I had a shaky start - but I'm happy with the changes I've made to my
eating habits. Christmas might reverse the trend - but in January - it all starts again. I achieved 50% of the
job - would have preferred 75% - but there you go.

Thanks to you CBH for starting this brilliant and fun thread - a real game-changer for me. And to people's support
throughout.

Started drifting up a bit as I was eating breakfast and having it earlier and earlier - put a stop to that now and back to 8.5 lbs:

1732867871031.png

It is about 2lbs a week so I’m actually pretty happy - haven’t been able to stick to a diet this long before and it doesn’t feel like I’ve had to make any major changes and like with the breakfasts I can change something, measure it and if it isn’t working stop it.

I should probably weigh myself twice a week to have a better idea of where I am.

I’m intending to drink tonight as am having a very rare night out with my brother (taking him to the Amex then a few beers in town) so won’t weigh tomorrow but I’m going to carry on every Friday (probably skipping the 27th December 😂).

Also thanks to CBH and everyone else here, it really has helped!

November 1st - 14st 8lb
November 8th - 14st 5lb
November 15th - 14st 4lb
November 23rd - 14st 2lb
November 29th - 13st 13lb

Boom! Into the 13s is a bonus for me.

I know there's a day to go, but Ijust wanted to say a massive thanks to the OP and everyone else involved. This thread was exactly the motivation I needed to shift some timber.

1st November - 13st 7 (moved to 13st 5 due to different scales)
8th November - 13st 2 - 3lbs lost
15th November- 13st 0 - 5lb lost in total
22nd November 12st 13 - 6lbs down.

Weight loss has slowed, saw 12st 13 early in the week but have mainly been at 13st, luckily scraped in this morning.
That last pound is going to be difficult, I feel.

29th November - Still 12st 13
Was up to 13st 4 after the weekend, Mum's 90th, son and his gf staying at ours
2 days to lose that last pound!
🤞🏼

1st - 118.5 kg
8th - 115 kg (-3.5 kg)
15th - 113.2 kg (-1.8 kg)
22nd - 111.3 kg (-1.9 kg)
29th - 109.8 kg

Another 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) down.

I plateaued early in the week and only lost 0.2kg in 4 days but the weight seems to be coming off again.

I'll be back on Sunday for the total for the month.

Day 1 13 5
My aim was to get below 13 stone because I am 6 3 and slim but a podgy gut.

12 13

That is only 3 pounds heavier than when I did a triathlon a decade ago and injuries mean I am now very limited in what I can do. I am thrilled.

Very pleased to weigh in at 103.2 🙂

Started November at 107.8 so 4.6 kilos lost - that 10.14lbs

I know this hasn’t been a competition and I haven’t taken it as such but that’s a huge achievement for me personally considering my comparatively low calorie intake already and mobility/pain issues that prevents any meaningful exercise. Eating more fresh food (especially fruit), less pizzas, cutting out bread, pasta and rice and eating earlier in the evening has all helped.

Thank you @Couldn't Be Hyypia for starting the thread and to all of us who have been encouraging and felt encouraged by others other along the way.

Could you please, please start one for December? 🙏🏼

I am sure some of us want to shed a few more pounds in time for Christmas and happy to keep going (I shall anyway but have found doing this with the NSC ‘weight watchers class‘ 😉 has been the extra motivation that I needed at times when my weight appeared to be going in the wrong direction.)

Day 1: 16st 4lb
Day 29: 15st 11.6lb
- 6.4lb

Come on. Nearly there. A few days plateauing (four vowels in a row) normally followed by a drop, and it was. I'll take this as a win even if I don't hit 7lbs.

Well done everyone joining in. Whether you are down a bit or a lot, that's progress. And thanks for your support.

Day 8: 84.5kg (13st 4lb)
Day 15: 84.1kg (13st 3lb)
Day 22: 83.75kg (13st 3lb)
Day 29: 82.25kg (12st 13lb)

Loss so far: 4.25kg (9.4lb)

It looks like the big final push this week has paid off, I’m particularly pleased to have ducked under 13st. I’m also glad to have given myself a bit of headroom as I’m sure I’ll be putting some of that back on tonight!

Avoid 7lbs in December thread 😂. December through to mid January (with the exception of an all inclusive holiday) probably toughest period for protecting the midriff.

I'm not planning a "Lose 7lbs in December" thread because realistically, I'd like to exit December weighing what I do going in.

So I'll try to lose a bit more before the holidays, try to maintain my good habits across Christmas, but not punish myself, and hope to be similar weight to Dec 1st by Dec 31st.

If there is demand though, we could do the Lose 7lbs in January thread.

Nov 1st : 12st 3lb
Nov 29th : 12sts 0.75lb

So only lost 2.25lbs but every little bit helps - just got to keep it off now which may be tough over the Christmas period 😜

I'd definitely be up for doing this again in January.
