That's what I'm going for. But what has really pleased me is the change in eating habits. And bar the odd slip, it's felt easy. Sustainable habits and change I'm hoping.
I'm really enjoying cooking for myself. The wife is a fussy eater and won't touch anything even remotely spicey!

I'm making Spanish Chorizo and Beans this afternoon, batch cooked and freeze some portions for another day...

Oh, and a post football weight blip, I must admit I had more than a half per goal yesterday. Now 14st 1lb, up 2lb since Friday morning!

Target 11st 13lbs
4/11 - 12st 4lbs
11/11 - 12st 2lbs
18/11 - 12st 2lbs
25/11 - 12st 3lbs

A weekend of over indulgence tipped the scales as 12st 1lb on Friday. Consumed too much homemade cooking. BBC2 tonight at 9pm should be an interesting watch https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/mediapacks/irresistible-why-we-cant-stop-eating.
That looks like an interesting and 'must watch' programme.

Guilt is a problem for many over-eaters, and guilt often leads to eating comfort food. I do wonder if I might eat less if I could shove the guilt onto the food producers/manufacturers/marketing people ?

Day 1: 86.5kg (13st 9lb)
Day 25: 83.7kg (13st 3lb)

Target: 83.5kg (13st 2lb)

After ducking under my target weight on Saturday morning, I’m not surprised that I’m back over it again this morning.

Final push this week, but I think success very much depends upon the timing of that final weigh-in
Crikey - where has this month gone? Seems like yesterday CBH started this very worthwhile thread.

I have now watched that programme. Fascinating...!!!

I don't recommend watching it if you're hungry, but it is full of interesting information. The connection between the tobacco industries and food industries is almost unbelievable.

I shall watch it again , so I can grasp the info better and will I'm sure make me study ultra processed foods much more carefully.

Food for thought, literally. Parallels with tobacco industry was interesting.

The Telegraph have covered the UPF thing for a long time.

The US Institute of Health study was a clincher with the 20 people in a controlled environment for 4 weeks. Irrefutable results.

For us, the willpower and a bit of effort to not buy this crap and prepare fresh food.
