I'm not sure whether I'm fortunate or not here, but in my naivety/innocence, even after having been on this thread almost since the beginning, I still find this
example of Russian disinformation, really quite disturbing.

I've been reading more and more lately about Russian disinformation that's been going on for years. Especially where they amplify existing narratives to sow division. As the use and 'quality' of AI increases...gosh only knows where we'll be in a few years.

Don't say that - you'll give them ideas. Or maybe it's already too late.
I saw a clip of the lovely Margarita Simonyan, head of RT, claiming that most of the propagandists don't exist and were the product of AI.

I presume the editorial decision to say that, was designed to mislead, confuse, spread fear, exaggerate Russian expertise in AI etc. But it's still quite a weird thing to claim.

Perhaps we will now see the boundaries of disinformation pushed even further, with ever greater exaggerations.

Here's an interview with a very passionate Jake Broe. Wide ranging , including:
- Trump and Musk's communications with Putin
- North Korean involvement
- Why Putin would want Trump to keep the US in NATO
- Why Europe should step up with more support to Ukraine
- Why Poland/the Baltics should unilaterally go into Ukraine with direct military assistance
It's worth a listen...test your stoicism 😉

More details on the North Koreans in Russia:
1. A journo calls out the press secretary at the White House briefing. "Surely now you'll remove the restriction on Ukraine's use of long range weapons?". "But we don't know why they're there" says the press secretary...🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️. As Jake Broe says, the US government and defense secretary have made the choice to play dum. Wtaf??
2. Video, photos of Korean officers posing with locals in Red Square.
3. Reports that families of N Korean officers and generals have already been held in secure isolation to prevent their guys defecting.
Not the infantry... assumed they'll die.
4. Ukraine has a "I want to live" propaganda project with video that tries to convince Russian soldiers to surrender. They have already produced the video in Korean...all those losers now need is access to a western smart phone thingy.
All of the above in the first 8 minutes of attached video! It's a good watch 👍.

Jake Broe and Paul Warburg are on the same page.

They both think the North Koreans are not going home.

I urge you to watch this from Broe: video clips from Zelenskiy, Trump/ Rogan interview, and especially f***ing Slovakia"s Fico praising Russia on their state TV. Makes my blood boil. Be patient, watch it all.

That clip of the 76 year old was so moving. He went through the process with his eyes closed.

We don't know what health issues he has, but it is probably a fair chance that he has some. The poor man married his long term girlfriend, with the intention that his death benefits/pension would provide for her after his predicted death. Whether that provision will materialise is another matter.

And the Russian state celebrate his actions as some kind of patriotism.

There’s a lot to digest in there. Very disappointed re Fico. Based on the Slovak’s I’ve met (admittedly few) they despise the old USSR and ridicule their current government

Indeed. Quite pathetic that the mighty Russia has come to applaud such a stunt - and, as you say, a high chance she'll never get the death benefit anyway.
