Glasner is insistent on 3 at the back, but neither Mitchell or Munoz are comfortable as wing backs.

Yes, but did you play 3 at the back last season? If so, it was working then wasn't it? And if not, why the hell would he change a winning formula?

We've not settled on a regular back 3, which doesnt help, and I dont think it suits Guehi, who missed most of the end of last season, and when he did play, started in midfield.

I didn't know he missed the time when you were playing well, or that he was in midfield. Makes it seem odd that he was chosen to play in defence for England.

Thanks for the detailed reply (although I am still confused :ROFLMAO: )

Problem is that Glasner doesnt know his best team. Kamada looks lost (pound shop Mitoma), and Eddie needs a goal. Wharton needs surgery, so I dont know why we just dont get on with that.
Dont think Andersen is as big a loss as some think, but until we get a settled defence, his departure will be a source of discussion
Just need a win, to get some confidence, but not sure where that will come from

As I said, looking at you v Forest, you just lacked confidence, stray passes and out of place longer balls just added to that feeling. You need a win and never had a better chance than this weekend, just Spurs at home. We gave them a two goal headstart and beat them.

And we haven't the depth of talent that Palace have.

was that a good result for us?, keeps Spuds below us, and Palace were going to win a game eventually, and for them to take 3 points off a fellow contender for Europe is a bonus for us

So finally a return to the high pressing game of last season, and ditching the Eddie and Kamada experiment, and hey presto, a much better performance. Victory just about deserved, although Spurs were really poor, and a better side would have found an equaliser in the last 10 minutes when we ran out of steam. Hopefully success will breed confidence, so a strongish side against Villa on Wednesday and then build on that against Wolves on Saturday

How was your game against Wolves? Saw the result, and a last minute equaliser, but I'm guessing you should have been out of sight before then

Wolves poor first half, decent second. They've got some quality players going forward - poor at the back.

If someone after an hour had told me we'd draw the game, I'd have agreed - they changed things at half time, and IMO we made poor subs.

Obviously when you go 2-0 up after 85 minutes you should win, but we didn't defend a corner properly (no Dunk) and don't tell me you haven't seen their second goal

So finally the whole of the Palace team have scored as many goals as Danny Welbeck has this season. Congratulations, you must be buzzing.

Indeed, and we were about to but unfortunately a wayward pass put an end to that. A lesson for us, we’ve got to put sides to the sword.

Our manager and squad is young and lacking premier league experience.
We sat way too deep in the second half and let Wolves build up some momentum, which they really didn't deserve.
Steep learning curve for all.

The early signs are very encouraging.

Rutter, Kadioglu, Baleba, Ayari were all excellent on Saturday.
Igor and Van Hecke continue to impress as they become more experienced at this level.

With Solly, O' Reilly, Pedro all to come back into the squad, I re,main very optimistic of what Huerzeler can achieve with us.

Harris interested in Palace again, looking to buy out Textor, in a deal that’d value CPFC (2010) Ltd at £400m. I’m assuming that the £120m, ring fenced, in on the balance sheet!
