I was on the mailing list and early NSC when our club was dying and then recovering from emergency surgery when you were still sucking your mum’s tits.

You stormed in here when we hired a guy on the back of winning some promotions from leagues worse than Scotland and finishing a brave 10th in the Championship with Swansea.

And, apart from when you were banned for violent anti-semitism, you've been storming in ever since.

I'm not sure Potter will ever be a head coach again. He made tens of millions from Chelsea. A career as a media pundit seems to be where he's headed. He doesn't come across as particularly passionate about it anymore, if indeed he ever was.
He's really too thin skinned for any top post. The kind of abuse an England manager gets would make him totally unsuitable for that role. He is financially secure for life, as long as he doesn't have a gambling addiction so doesn't need the aggravation. He can 'enjoy life' with more modest work ie as a media pundit

He's the Yosser Hughes of ex Premier League managers.
Quite the opposite, shirley?

Gizzus time to do some easy punditry rather than an actual manager's job.

Would make a great channel 4 crime thriller

A nordic noir. Stalking Potter, then an attempt on the life of RDZ in a misguided attempt to preserve Potter’s honour, blockading the apartment door from Wallander and Beck with booby trapped pizza boxes.

Indeed he can and enjoy a comfortable semi retirement by the sea with a stable family, nice home, cash saved and coming in.

But, if he does, let’s not have any more of this “great coach” stuff on here. Great coaches are driven and want to win things. Keep running teams into their 60s. Keep developing the next generation. Work at great clubs.

Not take the dog walkies.

He is now putting himself “out there” with articles as well as being a pundit.

I saw that, and chuckled a bit. He was talking to the BBC’s Chris Bevan if I remember correctly, so he can’t actually write for himself either.

It’s actually “I blather on over the phone for 20 minutes to whoever the current BBC Sports intern is, and they have to create a 500 word article out of it.”

This assignment will count toward their final mark.

If he doesn’t pull his finger out and take a job, six years from now it will be “I once met Marc Cucurella you know!” at the bar, to anyone who’ll listen.

Your hate knows no bounds does it? Let’s wait a while before suggesting he is finished. Chelsea money has stopped and he is 100% putting himself “out there”

I’ll be interested to see how he does when he takes a club on, much like I have interest in how RDZ is doing and in CH until he apparently became a manager of no interest to bigger clubs.

I find your anti Potter agenda just plain weird. No Potter would have meant no RDZ, it really is that simple

Having missed out on the England job, he's probably made sure Ratcliffe and Brailsford know how to contact him.

I would bloody love it if he got the United job! Not convinced he’d get time to do f*** all there though

I know a few United fans who would be gutted too! What’s not to like?

I think you missed the word “if” in your rush to froth at the mouth.

Nice side step in your ongoing dissing.

Up there with our best ever coaches imo, we were on fire when he got poached. Took a while but he got there, who knows what might have happened at Chelsea if they’d stuck with him like TB did.

Anyway I’ll step back now because it’s clear we’ll never come close to agreeing on this. I shouldn’t have bitten on your ongoing agenda.

The non stop slew of clubs* beating his door down and offering him eight figure** contracts since certainly supports your argument.
