Hopefully his return to form means we can switch Ferdi to the right and Joel can provide some much needed CB cover

It wasn't the only change. Most of the change was in the heads of the players imo..

That said, I'm a Perverto man all day all night. He's our best left back by a distance.

Who else had that change, and that change alone, as the key to change the direction of the game?
Sort of, yes - I was thinking, had we really spent a lot of money to get in a LB who wasn't as good as the one we already had?.............and thinking yes, we probably had! Mind you, I've had similar thoughts about most of our £200M quidsworth of new players based on their performances so far! Yes, I know, early days and all that.

I still live in hope.

Not me, I was disappointed Kadioglu went off!

If nothing else though, it seemed to inspire Mitoma second half though who had his best half for ages and pretty much changed the game single handedly. If having Pervis behind him will bring out that sort of performance from Mitoma, Estupinan has to start every game.

I thought Mitoma was also very good in the first half - Welbeck will still be wondering how he didn't score a brace today.

We called the change at half time. Ferdi bottled a few challenges and was a
bit off it defensively. His link up was okay with Mitoma but I actually think Pervis is a better foil as he overlaps more sparingly.
