There is more to it than that.I'm certainly not anti-union either - just stating facts that the new Govt. will reward those that voted them in, plus those that finance them.
In the same way the Tories rewarded big business.

The Tories seem in recent years (Johnson especially) keen to massively enrich a small number of their mates (and themselves).
The Tories stopped working for the electorate a long time ago.

As for labour being in the pocket (?) of the unions, I have read (on NSC) that the BMA is run by a tiny number of Marxists. I found no evidence for this when I looked them up.
So labour 'rewarding' doctors hasn't got much to do with paying back a loyal union made up of raving Marxists labour voters.
Most medics (the ones I know, and I work with many) are Tories.
No, the pay rises currently directed at 'public sector' workers seem to have more to do with.... fairness, rather than the suggested 'graft'.
