Did he really say that though on Fox business?

Either way its predictable bullshit

Edit: the pr1ck actually did say it....wow (Ukraine area?)

Let's be precise here.

The first tweet correctly reports Musk as saying the cyber attack originated in the 'Ukraine area'.
The second tweet incorrectly reports Musk as saying it originated in Ukraine.

So, to be clear, he said the 'Ukraine area'. Now, why did he say 'area'?

Note that he didn't specifically say 'Ukraine'. Neither did he say it was from the Ukrainian controlled part of the country, nor the Russian-occupied part of Ukraine. Hmmm.

If he knew it had originated from the Ukrainian sector, wouldn't he have said so?
If he knew it had originated from the Russian sector, would he have said so? I would venture, no he wouldn't. Hence 'Ukraine AREA'.

Is this Russia trying to make a point? As in a 'look what we can do' kind of way?

A group called Dark Storm - a pro-Palestinian group with affiliation to various Anonymous-adjacent entities are claiming to have DDoS'd Twitter.

A forward looking CEO would have a team of experts dedicated to preventing such an attack, but Mister Efficiency hollowed out that section of the company - much as he is doing with the US government.

TLDR:

*Fires cybersecurity team
*Is surprised when he gets caught with his pants down by a cyberattack

However - good on someone in Ukraine if they did manage to shut down that forum for fomenting hatred and bigotry - even if only for a short while.

i think this only put even more focus on the twat. I can’t see anyone being upset buy this, it’s not as if someone has died. He really is a child.
I want to agree, but we are all to some degree critical thinkers. Musk, Trump etc are engaged - in league with the Russians - in conducting a psy op, aimed at turning public opinion (which has hitherto been very pro Ukraine) against Zelensky and his country.

Each claim, tweet, press conference comment by itself, may seem unimportant. However, day by day, week by week it begins to gain traction. They are trying to create an alternative reality.

If you know Shakespeare's play 'Othello' this is what Iago does to convince Othello that his innocent wife is having an affair. The process is gradual but relentless. It is gaslighting.

Plenty of us will always see through it, but they don't need to persuade everyone. Polls taken recently already show a sharp decline in support for Ukraine by ordinary Americans.

I would agree with this if Musk hadn’t already been acting like an absolute ****. Personally people will think this is amusing because he is such a twat.

sadly I’ve never read Shakespeare, well I read one page of Macbeth then called Samaritans.

It's all so nonsensical. The article questions how Trump will convince Putin to end Russia's aggression. But how tf will he do that when he won't even admit that Putin is the aggressor?!
And all the nonsense about NATO expansion being the reason, well which is the prime country in NATO...the US, but somehow it's Ukraine's fault for asking, wtf. It's all made up nonsense.

Can't see Russia offering any genuine concessions, so will be interesting to see what happens when Trump realises it is only Ukraine interested in peace. The C**t will still probably blame Ukraine and NATO for provoking Putin
I think Trump already knows this. It would explain the performative bullying of Ukraine as an attempt to force them to accept Russian terms.

It’s a great plan, a wonderful plan, a beautiful plan … apparently.

It's not written down, it's all in his head, but it's beautiful. And Ukraine will be very thankful. Their people will stop dying and they will thank me. But first they need to sign the deal, and they need to have elections.
