The PA announcement at the Goldstone announcing that Southampton and Spurs had played out a convenient 0-0 draw, after we had beaten Blackpool 2-1. We failed to go up to the top division on goal difference.

The ref giving Notts County that corner that never was during the play off final which led to a goal. Changed the game after that incident and missed our chance of top flight football. Which also led to 20 years of ups and downs in the lower leagues. Who knows what might have been if we went up that year?
