Hanbury Ballroom is indeed a crackin little venue. You need to be careful that it does not turn into a 'Grab a Granny' night full of pissed up little twats looking for 'Milf' action.

Its a lovely place , very stylish and the beautiful dome. It holds 220 people so we may upgrade to it next year if it takes off. We do not want 40 people in a 220 people venue so will go for a 100 people venue first. We may get 100 people straight off but we are erring on the side of caution.

If you are looking for a smaller venue to launch it. The backroom at Komedia would be ideal. Capacity of 120, we do cocktails all ready and have a larger wine list then most pubs and clubs. PM me if you are interested.

Plus it is usually free if you beat a certain bar sales target.

Almost certainly. Mrs P and I love 80's nights but most of the mainstream clubs only do them weekdays when we can't go out to play due to work. Although would probbly miss the first one as we are not around for the first 3 saturdays in September.
