Technically and results wise Taylor is the best manager whether you like to admit it is another matter.

Adams has to be the best - he got boo'ed even more by the South Stand than McGhee and had to use his programme notes to say his job wasn't under threat

I think in time the view on Taylor will change, the issue was people did not like the way he walked out on us.

If you look at it, Barry Lloyd (he was manager from 1987-1993, Steve) is now painted in a far more favourable light. Yet I remember particualy towards the end of 1993 he was getting abused every game and many of us were so pleased to see the back of him.

Micky was the best Albion manager.

Whether or not he is the best overall manager (when comparing records at other clubs) is a different story.

But the poll was for the best manager during our time at Withdean, and that has to be Micky Adams.
