Results don't lie. If he carries on next season like he ended this one then it is bye bye Wilkins. If McGhee had the same record half the fans would be talking about burning down his house etc. Wilkins do a running jump straight out of our club.

1 Scunthorpe
2 Bristol City
3 Blackpool 4 Nottm Forest 5 Yeovil 6 Oldham 7 Swansea 8 Carlisle 9 Tranmere 10 Millwall
11 Doncaster
12 Port Vale
13 Crewe
14 Northampton
15 Huddersfield
16 Gillingham 17 Cheltenham
18 Brighton
19 Bournemouth
20 Leyton Orient
21 Chesterfield
22 Bradford
23 Rotherham
24 Brentford

It feels great to finish so much lower than Yeovil, then we give the prat a 3 year deal. Why the drastic move Dick? I don't mind giving him the chance with a pre-season etc but 3 years for an unproved and unqualified person as manager? Dick when we get our Stadium on June 9th its time for you and your little sidekick to move on. How many other clubs would have put up with 10 years without a stadium?

I agree. Wilkins is clearly not up to the task. The results and league position state that. I found it remarkable that Wilkins in the Argus at the weekend said this season has had far more positives than negatives and if they guy is feeling pleased with himself with 18th then he should be embarrased. Its a pity as we have some good players at this club but a man in charge who has no clue how to play them, what position to play them in, what team to pick, what tactics to employ, what subs to make and how to bring the best out of them. Savage and Elder upfront being the most bltatant and obvious example.

Or playing Mayo as a right back as the most obviously thing not to do.

Still I have a feeling he will get us a few class signings in the summer.

No, he left in September.

The legacy of players out of position, tactics, substitutions that baffle and inabilty to motivate players remains though, maybe just maybe that's circumstances rather than the managers fault though eh?

I've moved on,but have to say Mr.Wilkins makes Mr.McGhee look like Sir Alex Ferguson.

The only seriously annoying one has been Mayo at right back, but then we have not owned an experience specialist right back since Watson.

Before Christmas I could see some logic in playing Fraser on the right, less responsibility than in the middle and he was learning the game there. Frustratingly he has not kicked on as much as maybe people thought.

I bet Wilkins knows which is the better seahorse....unlike YOU :lolol:

Do all these Wilkins out people ever look at our squad list of fit players and consider that before they spout off? It's a home grown youth team for goodness sake. That means they are inexperienced, will tire as the season wears on, are less physically strong and more easily intimidated. Their form will be erractic and they will make mistakes. If you want to blame someone, blame those responsible for running our squad down. Either DK and the board, LDC for the ongoing saga or Archer, Bellotti and all. I really don't see how you can pin the blame on Wilkins. Quite frankly it's pathetic.

The same could have been said when McGhee was in charge. However people wanted to string him up for performances half as bad as some we have had at home this season.
