i'm not gay and i'm not homophobic.......hope that's cleared up , i would say that the major problem for us is that with our entry into the championship we will now be attracting large away followings from the likes of west ham .leeds brum, palace , portsmouth , lester , derby , southcoastclub, wall.etc etc etc........if we are a "town full of benders" or whatever......it is just banter surely , the idea of a gay gentleman lodging a complaint cos he got his sequins ruffled at a football match is really quite laughable. i will now wait for the shitfest to ensue....!

Hello all West Ham fan here.
Just been shown this thread by my Brighton supporting mate.
US, you really do need to lighten up, its just banter. Its much more fun when we get stick back. I got news for you, don't travel any further north than Watford if being called a poof offends you as anyone from south of Watford is a 'soft southern poof'. It must be true as the 'nothern monkeys' tell us that all the time. Ironically you are offended by being stereotyped as a "poof", yet you have just done the exact same thing we are being accused of by calling us all 'knuckledraggers" and "scum".
We get called all sorts, pikeys, poofs (irons - that someone has already picked up on here) etc. Its just a laugh. Some of the comebacks on here have been great. I did like the irons, irons, irons, one. Like someone has already said in this thread, we are owned by a couple of porn barons and we get chants and songs about the 'dildo daves', so what. They even get called that now by our own lot. Not going to go home crying about being called a bloody pikey. I still don't know where my caravan is despite being asked numerous times by opposition fans. Didn't go home crying when there are alternative versions of 'Blowing Bubbles' sung to us. I can assure you Bubbles wasn't the second word. Maybe we should go to the FA/poilce and get the club concerned fined cos a few nasty fans were just awful to us.
For what it is worth, most West Ham fans like B&HA. Proper fans and now you have the stadium you deserve. You played much better football than we did on Monday, a decent Centre Forward and you would have had the points. Once Fat Sam has gone, if we had Poyet at the helm I would be pretty chuffed about it. You lot have got a top manager. Would much rather you went up than most of the other teams in this league. Hopefully we will swap places with Wigan and Blackburn ! I think Poyet was right too in his interview, you were robbed, well we are theiving b******s and I think you will be in the playoffs at the very least.
So US, do yourself a favour, lighten up and just enjoy the ride (not implying you are gay of course).
