He has also had some NIGHTMARES in the transfer market and spent what little money we have in the wrong areas. I would say that shows he is NOT good at handling the budget of a small club or at very least not as apt as many on here would suggest.

He has had some nightmares but also some good signings in the shape of Currie, Carole and Frutos. It was McGhee who gave the likes of Virgo, Harding and Hammond a regular first team place, rehabiliated the Tank from a player spoken of in the same breath as Kitson into the player of the season.

No manager has a 100% record in the transfer market, irrespective of the size of the cheque book. In retrospect it may have been better to sign someone experienced such as Beckett or Shipperley with the Coca-Cola money, but we took a gamble with CZR and it has not yet come off. Talking to many Bury fans they are amazed that he has not done better, probably a bit like us in relation to Bobby Z not making the grade at Spurs.

WTF have EUFA and the premiership got to do with us ?

What we need is a manager who is proven to be able to keep a very small, inexperienced squad in the championship with very little money .............................................

Oh and play some attractive football as well

The Coca-Cola money wouldn't have paid six months wages for either of those.

The Argus today stated that we went after Alan Lee (Cardiff) until we found out how much the transfer and wages would have cost us.

Now the likes of Perseus will realise why we didnt get him.

When will some of these idiots understand that we cant afford established players. Therefore we take chances on more unknown players. When you take chances at the lower end of the market, you make some mistakes.

Its not that hard to figure out.
