Keith Cassels for Oxford vs The Alion in FA Cup early 80's. Keith beat us 3-1 I think on his own. We were top flight at th time (i think).

Liverpool vs West Ham at Anfield. Torres hat-trick, Gerrard and mascherano were outstanding. Whole Liverpool team were pretty class.

Peter Ward was the most lethal goalscorer i've ever seen

Liam Brady was the most skillfull player i've seen

Tony Adams was one of the best defenders and leaders i've seen

Gazza was an absolute genius...saw him twice at the Goldstone

Special mentions to...

Sir Trevor of Brooking....an absolute master on the football field
Billy Bonds....for being a hard but fair, no-nonsense footballer and my hero.

And i always liked watching Duncan Macenzie in the 70's

George Best = saw him play for Utd at the Dell - they scored 5 I think he may have got 3 of them.

I was there:clap2: George Best scored a hat-trick in a 5-2 win for United. He went off injured and while he was carried off the whole ground clapped in appreciation of one of the finest performances they had seen. To this day i have not seen a better player............the only one to come near was Kevin Keegan.

Zinedine Zidane at Euro 2000, especially in the game against Spain. OMG he was fkg brilliant.

Another games that stands out was Saints v QPR at the old Dell. Ferdinand v Le Tissier. Saints were shitting themselves everytime Sir Les got the ball, and Rangers were terrified of Le Tiss. It was brilliant match up, like a prize fight with each team just giving the ball to their player and letting them get on with it.

Saw Messi in March at the Neu Camp which was pretty impressive.

Apart from that, pre 2005 there's plenty to choose from - Henry, Waddle, Gazza, Ronaldo but obviously most of all Me Tiddlier.
