I was very fortunate to visit Unst and Fetlar in the Shetland Islands, which is about as far north as you can get. Was filming for a tv programme. Very beautiful up there.

Stopped in Gretna Green for a Carlisle game one year, but technically the furthest North with my feet on the ground is Carlisle.

In my own strange world
Cape Wrath, right the very top there, also surfed at Brims Ness and Thurso so when I paddled put into the North Atlantic I may have been even further North.

When i was a kid, we went on a 2 week caravanning holiday to Scotland. The furthest north we went was Inverness. The scenery was stunning, when you could see it through the rain and mist, I think we only had 2 decent days in the whole fortnight.
