The Athens of the North
Coasters (if that counts) and I think it was Night Fever in Middle Street. Also frequented Smugglers which was in Middle Street as well but I don't think that would qualify as a night club.

Hassocks
Obviously the Event, and Chequers (formerly Hancocks) in Burgess Hill.
Hope I never find myself in either establishment ever again.

It was either the one in Shoreham, can't remember what is was called in 1981 or the Carioca in Worthing. Both were awful

Eastbourne bases so very first nightclub would be Dixieland on a Monday night. Then as older would be the pier, Shimmers, Calebs and the legendary old Kings (Pevensey Bay Road) on a Thurs night!

Grab a granny at Kings! Marvellous Scenes:D

1st club that ever let me in was the one below the Metropole (as it was in those days!)

Steamers. They used to have ab linding night in there called Supercheese. A quid a pint and they played loads of Take That, marvellous scenes.
