1987 VW Golf 1.8 (or was it 1.6?) turbo diesel

It died within weeks of my getting it, but it was a freebe from my brother in law who'd just got himself a new Audi A6 (some upgrade...)

It was nasty, 1980's-bathroom-suite "avocado" in colour, at that.

84 I think. Cost 100 quid and got 18 months of use out of it only having to replace a wiper blade.

Had this random turbo stick like 2nd gear which burnt loads of fuel and made the engine louder but didnt really to anything else. Had 105 out of it without realising. Beauty

W reg (1980/81?) green Fiat Strada with brown Starski and Hutch stripe - f***ing cool!!! Managed to get seven of my mates in it when we went to the Hassocks Hotel! Bought it in Hove in 1985 and sold it around 1987 and saw it about 10 years later at a service station on the M4 driven by some pikey bint - very rusty and in bad shape by then....the car wasn't too good either!
