.. or dump the league cup and make all teams play from the first round.

Allow non league teams drawing a team above league one level, to designate their home draw to be played away if financially beneficial. This only applying to 1st and 2nd rounds.

But soccer is not American it is English, it comes from Association Football.

In which case there are two words to describe the worlds greatest sport and not one. Until they stop using the preferred term for Rugby (and whilst we're here "baseball" for rounders) I'm with oldalbiongirl.

They can also stop adding an s to the perfectly good plural "sport", and that s from maths, because it just isn't required.

There seems to be a pattern evolving here around the letter s.

.. apart from the U that have forgotten from colour.

What I trying to do in all my ideas, is try and think of ways to re-distribute the wealth without penalising the better supported, historically successful clubs.

I don't think it's that difficult to be honest.

If someone is suspected of a dive and a penalty given which in turn results in a goal then the dive should be investigated.

If it is indeed a dive then the goal is disallowed and said diver banned for 3 matches.

That's an interersting thought actually.

If someone fouled someone in the box to give the other team a penatly and betting was involved and it was proved, then he could go to prison

So if betting took place on a game, and someone dives on purpose and wins a penatly, could they be open to prison as well.

But that would be my one. Banning players for 6 games if it is proved they dived in a game.

Would liek to see a wage cap, but can't see it being legal

A points based salary cap. Based on league you are in, performance on pitch, international Apps, team league position from previous season and an agents percentage cap he can charge his player(s)

Doesn't need to involve the law though, or even involve a particularly players wages.

All it needs to be is a regulation of the league that only x percent of you turn over can be spent on wages. The problem (apparently) is that it would have to done on a European level and currency / tax difference come into play.

However, the "have to live within your means else we won't allow you in the Champions League" is a step forward.

How many do you want ?

Bring back terraces
Allow physical contact and proper tackling again.
Allow beer to be consumed in the ground - As per other countries
Send off anyone that dives
Send off players who harass and chase referees around ( Ala Man United )

That will do for now

Bring back terraces, 3pm kick-offs and Divisions 1,2,3 and 4

Get rid of the League Cup, Sepp Blatter and cheerleaders (sorry Gully's Girls!)

Most definately the return of the 4 divisions
Nobody likes the format that it is today

Parachute payments, oh do f*ck off.

Infect the championship with the inequalities of the league above why don't you.

Transfer windows.. a seemingly good idea that has gone a bit pear shaped.

All transfers to happen in the summer.

Free drugs for people of all ages upon entering a ground.

No, really, I'd bring back the full bodied, no nonsense, punch whoever you want 'rough and ready' style of English football, before the Europeans made it soft.

Introduce post match penalties for fouls/diving etc irrespective of whether the ref saw the incident or not with significant bans of 6 or more matches. Also, goal line technology (that doesn't mean someone watching a video somewhere) where the ref gets a signal if the whole of the ball crosses the line much like the net cord in tennis or hawkeye for the length of the serve. Instant and no delays.
