Love:

The West Pier
Hove
County Ground in the sun
Bagelman
Choice of pubs
Price of Sing Li's chippy when drunk
Preston Park. Not really sure why, I just like walking through it.
The Albion, obviously

Hates:
Beer prices
Churchill Square. Too busy and hot for me.
pedestrian lights. Completely pointless. People cross when the man is red, and when the man is green. Shambles.
London Road. Why is it so shit?
The beach. Always a bit of a letdown, it's not particularly clean. Stick to the promenade!

If the council had had its way in the 1970s, we would have had one - plus flyovers.

where would the dual carriage way and/or flyover have been sited?

You've never heard of the Hangleton By pass then?

In fairness it was a response to my comment about no fast dual carriageways or flyovers carving up the centre of the city like they do in say Brum or Manc. Hangleton is beyond the centre.

Yes, big up Bagelman. The Hove one does a mean salt-beef with all the gubbins served up by a nice bunch of youthful girls in tight t-shirts. Nick Cave uses the Hove one frequently. If its good enough for him.....

Tell you what I would like....a brew pub. But without the real ale wierdos that tend to go with such places. Went to an amazing place in Manchester called The Marble Arch.

Do we actually have any brew pubs in Brighton and Hove? Does that Evening Star place brew it's own on the premises?

It used to.

Someone said Dark Star has just moved to either Henfield or Partridge Green (can't remember which) from Ansty.

Didn't the Hand in Hand in Kemp Town brew on site as well? ???
