New Years Eve - Whats everyone doing??

Its that time of year again - New Years ! Traditionally one of the biggest letdowns when staying in Brighton - Tickets to get in most boozers, clubs charging joke entry prices with no name DJ's... What is everyone doing? My girlfriend is working so am at a loose end this year..

Was hoping to spend it with the GF but she has got her kids and is popping around a friends so am off to a party round a mates house instead.

Private party where it is fully expected that people will misbehave to the extent that one person's husband will be caught snogging someone else's wife, and one couple will try and kill each other before midnight. One child will get drunk on stolen booze and end up puking on the carpet, and I will have a totally booze-free night (duty call out again) before jumping into the Solent the next morning.
