Palace won. Deserved it, we were rubbish - the worst performance under Gus I reckon.

But, the one definite going forward, is that we'll beat them. Whether it's at Selhurst this year, or next year at the AMEX ( if they don't go down ) it will happen. And that victory will now be twice as sweet.

No offence, but no, you didn't. You did what a depressing number of over-spending clubs did in your situation, which is to call in the administrators (twice I believe?), get your debts written off, and then start cheerfully all over again. There was no danger, ever, of Palace going out of business because there's always some Benny prepared to step in with more money once the poor creditors have received their 5p in the pound or whatever it is. Hey, if it all goes tits up, there's always admin again. We never went into administration, because we used to sell players when we got desperate. We just ended up in a position where we got poked right where it hurts by a businessman trying to send the club out of existence and profit from that.

Out of curiosity, if you go into administration three times, do you get to keep the trophy?
