Baines it is then. No great loss - I will always remember him for putting in the most abject performance I have seen for a long time in an England shirt v Croatia (brollygate).

think it is a pretty decent statement - he thinks it will harm the dressing room if he is there, so he pulls out. Surely better for England he is honest with himself and the set up ?
